The chart and table below show the results of a survey of library users at a university.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Categories of library users
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The pie chart illustrates about the categories of library consumers and the table shows the satisfaction level of library consumers.
Most number of library users are students among them 44% are full time undergraduate , 25% are full time postgraduate and 16% are part time postgraduate. While only 8% are distance learner. The lowest number of users are academic stuffs.
Most of users are very satisfied with library opening hours. Almost 95% users are very satisfied with the behaviour of the staffs. For availabilty of books the satisfaction level is 50% are very satisfied ,40% are fairly and 10% are not satisfied at all.The dissatisfaction level is highest for availabilty of journals that is 20%.Subsequently,19% users are unsatisfied with the wifi service of library.
In conclusion, Students are mostly use library for their self-study purposes. In contrast, books and journals availabilty couldnot satisfy the user totally but users are happy with the behaviour of the library stuffs.
