The pie chart illustrates the propotion of categories of library user at a university.Where we can clearly see that the biggest ratio which is about 44% of library user are full time undergraduate. The 2nd most visible portion is covered by full time postgraduate which is 25% of the total library users.Moerover 16% of portion is covered under part time postgraduate. In addition, next we have 8% of distance learning (all courses). Lastly we have 7% of academic staff in library users. Subsequently we have clearly discribed all parts of the pie chart, thereafter we have table type of chart, showing the library user satisfaction percentage in 3 categories. So first of all library opening hours through which 65% of users are very satisfied, 35% of users are fairly satisfied and fortunatly there is 0% of not satisfied users. Secondly helpfulness of staff is mention where 95% of users are very satisfied, 5% of users are fairly satisfied and likewise there is 0% of those who are not satisfied. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

The student covers all parts of the visual data by reporting information from both the pie chart and the table. The main features are identified, such as the highest proportion being full-time undergraduates at 44% and staff helpfulness receiving the highest satisfaction at 95% very satisfied. However, the response lacks a cohesive overview, which is essential for a Band 7 in Task Achievement. The data is reported in a somewhat mechanical, listing fashion rather than selecting and highlighting broader trends effectively. For instance, the transition between the pie chart and the table is conversational and abrupt ("thereafter we have table type of chart"). Despite these organizational flaws, all key data points are accurate, earning a solid Band 6.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response suffers from significant cohesion and paragraphing issues. The entire text is written as a single, massive block paragraph instead of being structured into an introduction, overview, and distinct body paragraphs. Cohesive devices are repetitive and sometimes awkward, such as starting multiple sentences with "Lastly", "Moreover", or conversational phrases like "So first of all" and "unfortunatly". Logical progression is hindered by the lack of paragraph breaks, making it difficult for the reader to separate the chart data from the table data. While there is a coherent overall arrangement of information moving from the chart to the table, the mechanical referencing and absence of proper formatting limit the score to a Band 5.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, with domain-specific terms correctly employed (e.g., "full-time undergraduate", "library opening hours", "satisfaction percentage"). However, there are numerous spelling and word-choice errors throughout the text, including "propotion" instead of proportion, "consumes" instead of consumers, "availabilty" instead of availability, and "completly" instead of completely. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary items (e.g., "reliability", "helpfulness"), but the frequency of spelling mistakes and awkward phrasing (e.g., "table type of chart") prevents the score from reaching a Band 6.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The student demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, attempting relative clauses and participial phrases (e.g., "showing the library user satisfaction percentage in 3 categories"). However, grammatical accuracy is weak, with frequent errors in punctuation, run-on sentences, and missing prepositions (e.g., "50% of consumes who are very satisfied from the availabilty of books" instead of with, and missing commas separating clauses). There are also capitalization errors (e.g., starting sentences without proper capitalization or lowercase letters following periods). These errors frequently cause strain for the reader, placing the response securely in the Band 5 category.
