Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You cover both visuals and report several key figures accurately, including the largest user group (full-time undergraduates, 44%) and the high satisfaction with staff helpfulness (95%). You also compare satisfaction across books, journals and wi-fi. However, the overview is broad rather than selective: it says there is “variability” without identifying the main contrast, such as staff helpfulness receiving the strongest rating while journals and wi-fi attract the greatest dissatisfaction. Some details are unclear or imprecise: “satisfaction level of students” excludes other library users, and “48 percent users shows satisfaction” does not specify that this is the very-satisfied figure. A clearer overview and more precise descriptions of the table’s categories would make the main features more fully developed.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, an overview, then separate paragraphs for the chart and table. This makes the two visuals easy to distinguish, and the information generally progresses from the largest user group to smaller groups, then through the satisfaction measures. Some linking is effective, for example “After that” and “Regarding availability of books and journals.” However, transitions are sometimes mechanical or awkward, as in “Subsequently,” “However,” and “While,” and several sentences pack multiple comparisons together. The long table paragraph would be easier to follow if each pair of related measures were grouped more cleanly. More precise referencing and smoother links between comparisons would build on the sound organisation already present.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use a reasonable range of task-related vocabulary, including “proportion,” “satisfaction level,” “availability,” and “reliability,” so the reader can understand the main comparisons. However, several choices are inaccurate or unnatural for describing survey data. “Library useage” is repeated and misspelled; “statistics” is not the right word for the share of users; and “library assets” is vague when the table names opening hours, staff, books, journals and wi-fi. Phrases such as “very less statistics” and “online distance learner” also sound unnatural. Spelling errors including “availbility,” “availablity,” and “fairky” reduce control. Aim for precise collocations such as “accounted for,” “share of users,” and “availability of books.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt a mix of simple and more complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “while” and “regarding,” and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. Some grammatical errors remain, particularly with subject–verb agreement, articles and sentence boundaries. For example, “48 percent users shows satisfaction” needs an article and a plural verb, while “the online distance learner shows” does not agree naturally with the plural category being described. The sentence beginning “Remaining statistics shows” also has agreement problems, and “While, academic staff…” is an incomplete clause. Punctuation is inconsistent, with missing spaces after full stops and commas placed awkwardly. Check each sentence for a clear subject and verb, and avoid starting a sentence with a dependent “while” clause.
