Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You identify several accurate figures from the user categories, including 7% for academic staff, 44% for full-time undergraduates, and 25% and 16% for postgraduate groups. However, the response only minimally summarises the task: it gives no figures for distance learners and does not report the satisfaction results in a clear, data-based way. The claim that “all the users are satisfied” is inaccurate, since some respondents were not satisfied, including 10% for books, 20% for journals, and 19% for wi-fi. Much of the response then shifts into general opinions about how books and wi-fi help students, rather than describing the visual information. Include a concise overview of the main patterns and compare the satisfaction figures accurately.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

The response contains some relevant information, but the ideas are not arranged in a clear report structure. It begins with the user categories, then moves abruptly to satisfaction and finally to extended comments about the importance of books and wi-fi. There is no distinct overview to guide the reader, and the long final section makes the key data difficult to locate. Linking words such as “And,” “but,” and “Because” are used, but they do not create a clear progression; “Because” also begins a fragment. Organise the response into a brief introduction, an overview, and focused paragraphs comparing the two sets of data. Keep each point connected to the chart or table.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some task-relevant vocabulary, including “categories,” “undergraduate,” “postgraduate,” “satisfied,” and “availability,” so the topic is generally recognisable. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make the writing less clear, such as “persentage,” “satisfection,” “nessery,” and “rule” where “role” is intended. Phrases such as “university people” and “some peoples” are also imprecise or unnatural. The repeated use of “using library” and “very important” limits variety. Practise accurate terms for reporting data, such as “accounted for,” “respondents,” and “the proportion who were dissatisfied,” and check spelling and collocations before finishing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, but the range is limited and complex attempts are often faulty. For example, “The chart demonstrates…” is followed by a sentence fragment beginning “Which is very less number,” while “Because all thses things…” is also incomplete. Sentence boundaries and punctuation are frequently unclear, as in the opening, where several ideas run together without spaces or full stops. There are also recurring problems with articles, plurals, and sentence structure, including “using library” and “book and journals are play.” These errors sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Build accuracy with short, complete sentences first, then practise joining them with correctly formed clauses.
