Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You cover both visuals and report the main user groups and satisfaction figures, including the largest group (full-time undergraduates, 44%) and the strongest satisfaction result (staff helpfulness, 95% very satisfied). Most figures match the source. However, there is no clear overview drawing together the main patterns—for example, that undergraduates form the largest user category and staff helpfulness receives the highest satisfaction, while journals attract the greatest dissatisfaction. Some comparisons are also unclear: “normal users” is not a meaningful category, and the opening-hours figures are described as “people” rather than percentages. To strengthen the response, add a concise overview and consistently identify the data as percentages. The coverage is relevant, though some features are reported more fully than they are interpreted.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a generally understandable sequence: it first describes the user categories and then moves to satisfaction, with paragraph breaks helping to separate these topics. Linking expressions such as “After that,” “Moreover,” and “Now looking at” show an effort to guide the reader. However, the progression is sometimes mechanical, and the first paragraph mixes an introduction with several details without establishing a clear overview. The long final paragraph lists satisfaction results in succession, so comparisons between categories are not always easy to follow. Use a distinct overview paragraph, then group related satisfaction results—for instance, the strongest results together and the areas with more dissatisfaction together. Clearer referencing and less repetitive transitions would make the organisation more effective.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic vocabulary to identify the groups and measures, including “full-time undergraduate,” “availability of books,” and “reliability of wi-fi.” However, the range is limited and several expressions are imprecise or unnatural, such as “normal users,” “the ratio breakdown to 25%,” and “people in not satisfied list.” Repetition of “user,” “ratio,” and “satisfied” also makes the report less fluent. There are spelling errors in “learing,” “helpfullness,” and “journels,” and “fair” is too vague for the satisfaction category. Aim for accurate reporting language such as “accounted for,” “share,” and “respondents,” while preserving the exact category labels. More precise collocations would improve clarity and control.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, and the reader can generally understand the intended comparisons. However, errors in sentence structure, agreement, articles, and punctuation are frequent enough to make parts of the report awkward. Examples include “As looking the chart,” “the most people who uses library,” and “the least user … are the academic staff.” Several sentences run together without a space after a full stop, while others lack a clear grammatical frame, such as “Moreover, the reliability of wi-fi which about 48…” Practise complete subject–verb structures and consistent plural forms: for example, “The largest group is full-time undergraduates, at 44%.” Use commas and full stops to separate each comparison, and check articles and agreement during editing.
