Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You cover both the user categories and satisfaction results, and your overview identifies the largest group (full-time undergraduates) and the smallest (academic staff). You also report several key figures accurately, including 44%, 25%, 16%, and the 95% very satisfied with staff helpfulness. However, the overview that users were “most of the time very satisfied with the five services” is too broad: satisfaction varies, and journals and Wi-Fi have notable dissatisfied shares. Some details are also unclear or inaccurate; for example, you say half were very satisfied with books and journals, although the figures are 50% for books and 45% for journals. A clearer comparison of the strongest and weakest satisfaction results would make the main features more fully developed.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a coherent overall arrangement: an introduction and overview are followed by a paragraph on user categories and one on satisfaction. This helps the reader follow the two parts of the visual. Some linking is effective, such as “Furthermore” and “In the third place,” but transitions are occasionally mechanical or unclear. The final paragraph moves quickly between opening hours, staff, books, journals, and Wi-Fi, and the phrase “in the opposite” does not clearly express the intended contrast. Grouping the most positive results together and then comparing books, journals, and Wi-Fi would create a more logical progression. Clearer sentence boundaries and references would also help the figures connect smoothly.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant task vocabulary, including “proportion,” “category,” “availability,” and “fairly satisfied,” and you attempt to vary descriptions with phrases such as “surpassing” and “stood at.” However, spelling errors are noticeable, including “setisfaction,” “avilability,” and “acadimc,” and some word choices or collocations are awkward. “The help provide from the staff” and “the level of the wifi” are not natural ways to describe the measures. Repetition of “users” and “very satisfied” also limits flexibility. Aim for accurate, conventional chart language and check spelling carefully; this will make your meaning easier to process and your vocabulary more precise.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, and the main comparisons are generally understandable. However, some sentence structures are incomplete or faulty, particularly in the satisfaction paragraph: “The assistance of the team 95% and 0% not satisfied” lacks a clear verb and does not state the fairly satisfied figure. The sentence beginning “in the opposite” also has an unclear grammatical connection, while “the rest 33% fairly satisfied” needs a verb such as “were.” There are also issues with articles, agreement, and punctuation, for example “the full time undergraduate” and the comma-separated list in the opening sentence. Use complete clauses and check that each percentage is attached to a clear subject and verb.
