The pie chart and the table illustrate the results of various categories of library users and thier satisfaction.

Overall, from the data full-time undergraduate was the largest share in the categories of library users, the smallest share was the academic staff, and the majority of them were classified as very satisfied of the five services provided by the library.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You identify the main user-group pattern accurately: full-time undergraduates are the largest group at 44%, while academic staff are the smallest at 7%, and you report the other category figures. You also cover satisfaction across the five services and note that very satisfied responses are generally prominent. However, the overview is imprecise: “the majority of them” does not clearly describe the satisfaction data, and the claim that satisfaction was “around the half (50%) or much higher” overlooks the 45% figure for journals and the 48% for wi-fi. Some useful comparisons are present, but the satisfaction figures are not clearly distinguished by service. A more precise overview and selected comparisons would make the key features clearer and more fully developed.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, an overview, a paragraph on user categories and a final paragraph on satisfaction. This gives the reader a coherent overall route through the two visuals. Linking expressions such as “Overall,” “Furthermore” and “On the other hand” help signal relationships between ideas. However, the final paragraph combines several services and satisfaction levels in a long sentence, making the comparisons difficult to follow. The reference in “the majority of them” is also unclear, and “this 3 categories” does not clearly identify which groups are being compared. Use shorter sentences and organise the satisfaction data into clearer comparisons, for example, separating the highest very-satisfied results from the lower ones.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some task-relevant vocabulary, including “accounting for,” “made up,” “share,” “availability” and “satisfaction,” and you attempt to vary how percentages are described. However, noticeable spelling errors and inaccurate word choices reduce clarity, including “thier,” “dominantes,” “accurated,” “opning,” “relibility” and “conversaly.” Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, such as “satisfied of the five services” and “the categories of library users.” These issues make the description less fluent, even though the intended meaning is usually recoverable. Focus on accurate spelling and standard chart language, and use precise terms such as “proportion,” “users” and “very satisfied responses” consistently.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a comparison introduced by “while” and a sentence beginning “Furthermore.” The overall meaning can generally be followed, but some grammatical errors affect clarity. For example, “full-time undergraduate was the largest share” needs a plural or a more suitable noun phrase, and “the majority of them were classified as very satisfied” has an unclear pronoun reference and awkward construction. The long final sentence also joins several ideas without clear punctuation, while “this 3 categories combined” has a number-agreement problem. Improve control of articles, singular and plural forms, and sentence boundaries; breaking the final sentence into shorter units would help you express the comparisons more accurately.
