Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You identify the main user group accurately: full-time undergraduates account for 44%, and you also report the similar, smaller shares for distance learners and academic staff. The overview highlights the strongest satisfaction result, staff helpfulness, and the absence of dissatisfaction with opening hours. These are relevant features and show that you understand both visuals. However, coverage is uneven: the user categories omit the 16% part-time postgraduate figure, while the satisfaction discussion gives little attention to the 50% very satisfied with book availability or the 48% for Wi-Fi. The statement that students are very satisfied overall is broader than the table supports, since satisfaction varies by service. Select and compare a fuller range of key figures, and make the overview more precise.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, moving from an introduction and overview to details about user categories and then satisfaction. This gives the reader a basic route through the information. Some linking is effective, such as “Next comes” and “Moreover,” but connections are occasionally mechanical or unclear. For example, “As, full-time undergraduates…” is an awkward start, and “it resembles few with wi-fi reliability” does not clearly explain the comparison between journal and Wi-Fi dissatisfaction. The final paragraph also combines several satisfaction points without a clear order. Group the table details systematically—for example, strongest satisfaction first, then the areas with more dissatisfaction—and use explicit comparisons so each sentence follows naturally from the previous one.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some task-relevant vocabulary, including “percentages,” “satisfied,” “unsatisfaction rate,” and “reliability,” and the main message is generally understandable. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or informal for an academic summary. “Fulfilment percentages” is not a natural way to describe satisfaction results, “knowledge center” is an unnecessary substitute for library, and “behaviours getting from the library workers” does not clearly express staff helpfulness. There are also spelling and form issues such as “quater” and “employeers.” Aim for precise chart language and reuse the labels where appropriate, such as “full-time postgraduate students,” “very satisfied,” and “not satisfied.” This would make the comparisons clearer and more natural.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including “Although”/contrast-style ideas and clauses introduced by “because,” so there is some structural variety. However, errors in sentence construction and grammar are frequent enough to make several passages difficult to follow. Examples include “The chart illustrates the classifications of users in library,” “As, full-time undergraduates are…,” and “On the opening hour of library has not that much objection.” The sentence beginning “What is more” also runs several ideas together without clear punctuation. Practise accurate article use and clause structure, and separate comparisons into complete sentences. For instance, state the opening-hours figures in a direct sentence, then contrast them with the journal figures. More reliable sentence control would improve clarity.
