Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You cover both visuals and provide a relevant overview: undergraduates are the largest user group, and staff helpfulness receives the strongest satisfaction rating. Several figures are reported accurately, including the user-group shares and the wi-fi ratings. However, some comparisons are unclear or inaccurate. The statement that books and journals have the same 95% very-satisfied result incorrectly combines their figures: books are 50% and journals 45%, while staff helpfulness alone is 95%. The overview could also identify the lowest satisfaction results, such as journals having the highest dissatisfaction at 20%. Develop the table summary more systematically by comparing the five facilities and distinguishing very, fairly, and not satisfied responses.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, moving from an introduction and overview to details about the chart and then the table. This gives the reader a basic route through the information. However, progression within the table paragraph is difficult to follow: “Consequently” does not show a clear relationship, and the sentence about books, journals, and staff combines separate figures in a confusing way. Some linking is also mechanical, with repeated “Moreover” and “While,” and the final sentence does not clearly connect to the preceding comparison. Use one paragraph for the user categories and another for satisfaction, grouping related results and using precise references such as “by contrast” or “in comparison” only where the data support them.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant task vocabulary, including “full-time undergraduate,” “very satisfied,” and “reliability of wi-fi,” so the topic is generally clear. However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or awkward, which sometimes makes the data difficult to interpret. For example, “three different satisfactory ratios” and “five different library user satisfaction” are not natural descriptions of the table, while “the two sum of users” obscures the comparison. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “catagories,” “attendes,” “availbilty,” and “reliabilty.” Build a reliable set of chart-reporting phrases such as “accounted for,” “the proportion who were satisfied,” and “the highest share,” and check spelling carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrast clause beginning “While” and a sentence using “followed by.” However, control is inconsistent, and several sentence structures are incomplete or difficult to parse. The opening “While table the demonstrates…” lacks a clear grammatical structure, and “full-time undergraduate with almost one-half proportion” is not a complete sentence. There are also problems with articles, agreement, and sentence boundaries, as in “the two sum of users … got same very satisfied 95%.” Aim for complete subject–verb sentences, check singular and plural forms, and use a simpler structure when reporting several percentages. More accurate sentence patterns would make your comparisons much clearer.
