Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You report most of the figures accurately, including the user-category proportions and satisfaction results for opening hours, books, journals and Wi-Fi. However, the helpfulness figures are misreported: the table gives 5% fairly satisfied, not 35%. The final sentence, “the relavant was first and the secound at the stage of not satisfied,” is unclear and does not provide a meaningful overview. The response mainly lists data rather than selecting the key features and comparing them—for example, staff helpfulness has the highest very-satisfied result, while journals have the highest dissatisfaction. To strengthen the response, add a clear overview of these main patterns and make accurate comparisons, rather than ending with an unclear comment.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
The response follows the chart and table in a broadly understandable order, first describing user categories and then satisfaction ratings. Repeated sequencing phrases such as “and in the last” help signal movement between items, but the writing is largely one continuous block and relies heavily on “and” and “so.” This makes the information feel like a list rather than a clearly organised summary. The final sentence is especially difficult to connect to the preceding figures. Use separate paragraphs for the user profile and satisfaction results, then group related satisfaction findings and use clear comparison links such as “by contrast” or “whereas.” This would create a more coherent progression and make relationships between the figures easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant task vocabulary, including “categories,” “satisfaction,” “availability,” “helpfulness” and “reliability,” so the reader can identify the topics being described. However, the range is limited and several spelling or word-choice errors reduce clarity, such as “liberary,” “undergratudewas,” “postgratude” and “relavant.” Phrases such as “the people was” and “the results of a library users” are also unnatural expressions. The repeated use of “just” and “people” makes the account less precise. Aim to use accurate chart-reporting language, for example “accounted for,” “respondents” and “the proportion who were satisfied,” and check spelling of key terms before finishing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The response communicates several figures through simple clauses, but grammatical control is weak and sentence structures are repetitive. Errors occur in articles and agreement, as in “a library users” and “65% people was very satisfied”; the plural subject requires “65% of respondents were very satisfied.” Some clauses are incomplete or difficult to interpret, particularly “so, the categories of library users” and the closing sentence. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with long run-on sequences joined by commas and “and.” Practise writing complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and use a small range of accurate comparison structures, such as “The highest proportion was…” and “By comparison, …”.
