Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You cover both visuals and identify the main user group correctly: full-time undergraduates account for the largest share, at 44%. You also report several key satisfaction figures accurately, including 65% for opening hours and 95% for staff helpfulness. However, some details are unclear or inaccurate: the chart gives academic staff as 7% and distance learners as 8%, whereas you reverse these figures by saying online students and teachers have 7% to 8%. The description of undergraduate students as having “completed only there inter” is difficult to interpret. Your overview also overgeneralises that most users are very satisfied with all facilities; satisfaction is more mixed for books, journals and Wi-Fi. Select and compare these less positive results more precisely to develop the summary fully.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: it introduces the two visuals, describes user categories, moves to satisfaction results, and ends with an overall statement. This makes the information broadly easy to follow. However, progression within the main paragraph is sometimes crowded, particularly where several figures are joined in one long sentence. Linking phrases such as “Morover,” “On contrary,” and “At last” are repeated or used awkwardly, and the reference to “neutral comments” is unclear because the table labels this category “fairly satisfied.” Separate the chart and table into clearer paragraphs, group related satisfaction results, and use more precise transitions and references so comparisons are easier to track.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant task vocabulary, including “ratio,” “categories,” “availability,” “reliability,” and “dissatisfied,” and you attempt to vary expressions for satisfaction. However, word choice and spelling errors are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning difficult to recover. For example, “ratio of library users” is less precise than “proportion of library users,” while “comments” and “feedbacks” do not accurately describe the table’s satisfaction ratings. There are also misspellings such as “facilties,” “staisfied,” and “nuetral,” alongside imprecise phrases such as “online students.” Build a more accurate set of chart-description collocations and check spelling carefully; this will make your comparisons clearer and more appropriately formal.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “that” and “which,” and the main message is generally recoverable. However, errors in sentence structure and grammatical forms are frequent enough to affect clarity. Examples include “From chart it can be seen,” which needs an article, and “the most of students which have completed only there inter uses library,” where the clause structure and agreement are unclear. In “full time and part time postgraduates come having,” the verb pattern is not grammatical, and several long sentences lack clear punctuation. Practise accurate article use, subject–verb agreement, and shorter sentence boundaries before adding complex clauses. This will help you express the data without obscuring relationships.
