Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You cover both visuals and report the main figures accurately, including the largest user group (44%), the 25% postgraduate group, and the satisfaction results for all five services. The overview identifies the dominant user category and generally positive satisfaction, while the detailed paragraphs provide relevant comparisons. This meets the task well and shows some of the stronger feature selection expected at the next level. However, the overview is not fully precise: books are not the lowest satisfaction result, since journals have the lowest very-satisfied share (45%) and the highest dissatisfied share (20%). Also, “satisfaction level ... are mostly high” is broad rather than a clear comparison of the strongest and weakest results. Make the overview more selective and exact.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, an overview, then separate detail on user categories and satisfaction. This makes the two visuals easy to distinguish, and the figures generally appear in a sensible order. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical or unclear. Several sentences begin with “While,” including fragments such as “While satisfaction level...” and “While distance learning...”; these do not connect smoothly to a main clause. Repeated phrases such as “accounts for” and “presents at” also make the progression feel formulaic. Use complete sentences and clearer comparisons, for example, grouping the two strongest satisfaction results before contrasting them with journals and wi-fi. This would make the links between details more natural.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant task vocabulary such as “breakdown,” “proportion,” “satisfaction,” and “reliability,” and the reader can understand most of the comparisons. There is some attempt to vary wording, but several choices are inaccurate or unnatural for describing data: “nominate” does not mean that a group accounts for a share, and “presents at” is not a natural way to report a percentage. Spelling errors such as “ful-time,” “Availibilty,” “coustomers,” and “unsatisfried” are noticeable and reduce precision. Repetition of “accounts for” and “library services” also limits flexibility. Focus on standard chart-reporting collocations and check spelling carefully; this will make your otherwise relevant vocabulary more precise and fluent.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex forms, and most numerical information remains understandable. However, sentence control is inconsistent, especially in the overview and in clauses introduced by “While.” For example, “While satisfaction level of library services are mostly high on table” is a fragment and has a subject–verb agreement problem; “Full-time undergraduate accounts...” also needs an article or plural subject. Other patterns, such as “The survey ... are mostly high” and “The category of user stand for...” show problems with agreement and sentence construction. Aim first for complete, direct sentences with a clear subject and verb, then add subordinate clauses only when they are grammatically complete. More consistent control of articles, agreement, and clause boundaries would improve accuracy.
