Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You identify several relevant figures, including the largest user group (full-time undergraduates, 44%), the small share of academic staff (7%), and satisfaction results for opening hours and staff helpfulness. However, the response only partially summarises the data: the overview is unclear, and some comparisons are inaccurate or incomplete. For example, you say books received “10% only satisfied,” although 10% were not satisfied, and you describe journals as having the “lowest percentage” without specifying that this refers to the very-satisfied result. The final claim about the university having “more facility” is not supported by the charts. Give a clear overview of the main patterns, then report the categories and satisfaction figures accurately.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has some organisation: it begins with the user categories, moves to satisfaction results, and ends with a general comment. This gives the reader a basic sense of the two visuals. However, there is no clear overall progression, and the opening does not establish a useful overview. Connections between ideas are often unclear, as in “which is 25% of Full-time postgraduate, than part-time postgraduate,” while repeated use of “There is” and “In the University” makes the account feel list-like. Group the user categories in one paragraph and the satisfaction findings in another, using comparisons to link related figures. A concise overview before the details would make the structure easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some task-relevant terms, such as “Full-time undergraduate,” “availability of books,” “helpfulness of staff,” and “reliability of wi-fi,” so the reader can recognise the chart topics. However, the vocabulary range is limited and errors in spelling, word form, and collocation sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “perstange,” “satifaction,” “higest,” and “much servies.” Phrases such as “students are ingage” and “The Journal is around 45% to 20%” are also imprecise. Use standard chart language consistently—for example, “accounted for,” “were very satisfied,” and “the proportion who were not satisfied”—and check spelling carefully. This would make the descriptions clearer and more precise.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple statements and longer comparisons, but the range of sentence structures is limited, and errors are frequent enough to make some relationships difficult to understand. For example, “There is highest perstange of students of of University” lacks a clear grammatical structure, while “The University have more facility” has subject–verb agreement and number problems. Articles and sentence construction are also inconsistent, as in “In the figure, there is categories.” Punctuation and spacing around commas are uneven. Practise building accurate sentences with a clear subject and verb, such as “Full-time undergraduates made up the largest group, at 44%.” Then add comparisons using controlled clauses rather than joining several ideas in one sentence.
