The given figures illusrtates the usage of a specific library by five different kinds of users categorized on the basis of their designation.Overall, it is clear that full-time undergraduate students used library the most followed by full-time postgraduate students. While part-time postgraduate students used library frequently but distant learners and academic staff was among the least users of library.

Looking at the details,it is evident that 44% of the library users were full-time undergraduate students while 25% of the postgraduate students showed attendence in library usage. In addition this trend seems less common in part-time postgraduate students as user's figures remained nearly at 16%.Moreover, all the distant learners and academic staff used library rarely showing an attendence of 8% and 7% respectively.

On the other hand, the table demonstrates the results of the survey conducted on satisfaction among the library users. It can be seen that most of the users were highly satisfied with cooperation and timings of the library.Furthermore, half of the proportion was satisfied with availablity of books and nearly 45% agreed with availbility of the journals. The figure depicts that 48% users satisfied with the internet connectivity.By contrast, none of the users showed disatisfaction towards cooperation and timings of the library. However, only 10% and 20% of the users were disatisfied with avaibility of books and journals respectively.Consequently, a small proportion of the users comprising of 19% disatisfied with the internet connectivity.Among those who fairly satisfied were the highest in avaibility of books followed by journals. Finally, a considerable amount of users nearly 33% fairly satisfied with reliability of internet.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0

You cover both visuals and give a clear overview of the main user group and the smaller groups. The figures for user categories are accurately reported, and you identify useful satisfaction contrasts, including the high ratings for staff helpfulness and opening hours and the lower ratings for journals and wi-fi. This supports a well-focused summary of the key features. However, some descriptions are too general or imprecise: “most of the users were highly satisfied” does not distinguish the 95% very satisfied with staff from the 65% for opening hours, and “half of the proportion was satisfied with availability of books” should clarify that 50% were very satisfied. More precise comparisons across the satisfaction categories would make the reporting more fully developed.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction and overview, a paragraph on user categories, and a final paragraph on satisfaction. The progression from the chart to the table is easy to follow, and linking expressions such as “On the other hand” and “By contrast” help signal comparisons. This gives the report a coherent arrangement. To make the cohesion more flexible and precise, avoid relying on a long sequence of “Moreover,” “Furthermore,” “However,” and “Finally,” especially where the relationship between points is not a strong contrast. The final paragraph also moves between very satisfied, dissatisfied, and fairly satisfied ratings, so grouping the table’s results more systematically would improve the flow and make comparisons easier to track.

Lexical Resource: Band 6.0

You use an adequate range of vocabulary for describing proportions and comparisons, including “followed by,” “proportion,” “fairly satisfied,” and “reliability.” These choices help communicate the main information, and the meaning is generally clear. However, some word choices and collocations are imprecise or repetitive: “showed attendance in library usage” and “used library rarely” are not natural ways to describe survey shares, while “cooperation” is not an accurate substitute for staff helpfulness. There are also spelling errors such as “availablity,” “disatisfaction,” and “distant learners.” Use standard chart language such as “accounted for,” “rated,” and “respondents,” and check spelling carefully to improve precision and control.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “while,” “as,” and “who,” and most of the information remains understandable. However, some grammatical errors recur and occasionally make relationships less clear. For example, “The given figures illustrates” has subject–verb disagreement, and “academic staff was among the least users” has problems with agreement and sentence construction. Several clauses also lack a clear grammatical subject or verb, as in “Finally, a considerable amount of users nearly 33% fairly satisfied.” Articles and sentence boundaries need attention too, as in “used library the most” and the missing spaces after commas. Aim for complete, carefully checked sentences while retaining your attempts at complex structures.
