Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You cover both visuals and report the figures accurately, including the user-group proportions and all five satisfaction rows. The overview identifies the largest and smallest user categories and highlights staff helpfulness and journal availability, giving the reader a useful summary of the main features. This meets the task well. To make the overview more analytical, compare the satisfaction results more precisely: helpfulness has the highest very-satisfied share, while journals have the lowest and the highest dissatisfied share; opening hours also receive no dissatisfaction. Some details are presented as a list rather than interpreted, so the response shows the main features but does not yet develop comparisons consistently.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, an overview, a paragraph on user categories and a paragraph on satisfaction. This makes the information broadly easy to locate. However, progression within the paragraphs is weakened by repeated, mechanical linking phrases such as “First and foremost,” “Furthermore,” “However” and “At the end.” Several sentences repeat “categories of library user” or “library user satisfaction” instead of using clear references, and the final table paragraph becomes a long sequence of figures. Grouping the satisfaction results into positive and less positive patterns, with a few purposeful comparisons, would create smoother cohesion and a clearer line of development.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant task vocabulary, including “full-time undergraduate,” “distance learning,” “very satisfied” and “reliability of wi-fi,” so the reader can understand the subject and most data. However, the range is limited by repeated phrases such as “categories of library user” and “library user satisfaction,” and some collocations are unnatural, for example “the result of visiting of library user.” Spelling errors such as “overvew,” “distanc,” “availibilty” and “vey r” (written as “veyr”) are noticeable. Use a wider set of accurate reporting terms and check spelling carefully; this would make the account more precise and fluent without changing its factual content.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the figures are generally understandable. However, grammatical control is inconsistent, particularly in sentence construction and articles. For example, “The pie chart, and table illustrate the result of visiting of library user” contains an awkward noun phrase and unnecessary punctuation, while “the highest categories … is” has a plural subject with a singular verb. Repeated sentence patterns also limit the range, and comma spacing and punctuation are uneven. Practise forming concise comparison sentences with accurate subject–verb agreement and articles, such as “Full-time undergraduates make up the largest group, at 44%.” This would improve clarity while retaining the information you already report.
