Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You cover both visuals and include many relevant figures, including the largest user group (44%) and the satisfaction results for each service. However, the overview is unclear and contains a significant misinterpretation: “full time graduates covers twice of the portion as compared to remaining 3 categories” does not accurately describe the chart. The 44% figure belongs to full-time undergraduates, while full-time postgraduates account for 25%; the three smaller groups are 16%, 8% and 7%. Your overview of satisfaction is also too general: helpfulness of staff stands out at 95% very satisfied, while journals receive the highest dissatisfaction at 20%. A clearer, accurate overview of these main contrasts, followed by selected supporting details, would make the response more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, an overview, and separate paragraphs for the chart and table. This helps the reader identify which visual is being discussed. However, progression within sentences and between details is sometimes difficult to follow. The overview’s “While, In table” construction is awkward, and the chart paragraph uses “After that,” “While,” and “whilst” repeatedly without always showing a meaningful comparison. The table paragraph lists figures in sequence but offers little grouping of related results. Organise the table around its strongest satisfaction results and its less positive results, and use linking phrases selectively. Clearer sentence boundaries and more precise references would also make the relationships between figures easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant task vocabulary such as “percentage,” “fairly satisfied,” “not satisfied,” and “availability,” so the reader can generally understand the subject and figures. However, the range is limited by repeated wording such as “portion,” “number,” and “satisfied,” and several phrases are unnatural or imprecise: “library learner,” “top trend,” and “not satisfying’s person.” These choices sometimes make the intended meaning less clear. Aim for accurate collocations used in data reporting, such as “accounted for,” “the largest share,” and “respondents who were dissatisfied.” Check word forms and spelling as well, including “Wi-Fi” and “satisfied.” More precise vocabulary would improve clarity without requiring unnecessarily complex language.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt some complex sentences, for example, “While part time post graduate around 16% in library,” but many sentences are incomplete or have faulty clause structure. Several statements omit a main verb or use an incorrect verb form, as in “full time postgraduates students covered larger portion” and “the number of library opening hours which are very satisficed.” Subject–verb agreement and articles are also inconsistent: “The pie chart and table compares” should use a plural verb, and phrases such as “a largest portion” need correction. Punctuation and capitalisation are uneven, particularly after linking words. These errors sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to interpret. Practise complete, controlled sentences, including accurate comparisons, before adding subordinate clauses.
