Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You cover both the user categories and satisfaction results, and several key figures are accurate: undergraduates are the largest group at 44%, academic staff the smallest at 7%, and staff helpfulness receives 95% very satisfied. However, the response has no clear overview of the main satisfaction patterns, and some details are incomplete or unclear. For example, the wi-fi figures omit the 19% who were not satisfied, while “Some people are assure with availability of books” does not clearly report the 50% very satisfied result. The phrase “highest trend” also misdescribes a proportion. To strengthen the summary, identify the strongest and weakest satisfaction results, then report the main comparisons accurately and consistently.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response includes information from both visuals, but its progression is difficult to follow because the figures are presented in a single, crowded paragraph without a clear division between user categories and satisfaction. Linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “However,” and “on the other hand” are used, but some are redundant or do not show a meaningful contrast; “Moreover, but” is especially confusing. Repetition of the undergraduate figure also interrupts the flow. Organise the response into a brief overview followed by separate sections for the two visuals, and use linking words only when they express the relationship between ideas. Clearer sentence boundaries and references would make the comparisons easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant terms, including “full-time undergraduate,” “availability of journals,” and “reliability of wi-fi,” so the topic is generally recognisable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make the data difficult to interpret. “Highest trend” and “least trend” are not suitable for describing percentages, while “normaly agree,” “not gratified,” and “most trend” do not express satisfaction naturally. There is also repetition of “satisfied” without enough precise alternatives. Build a small set of accurate chart-reporting expressions, such as “accounted for,” “the largest proportion,” and “were very satisfied,” and check spelling and word forms before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response attempts some longer sentences, but control is inconsistent, and errors sometimes make relationships between figures unclear. Examples include “Full-time postgraduates student would have around 25%,” where the noun form and verb construction are faulty, and “part-time postgraduates present at library are 16,” which lacks a clear grammatical structure. Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also problematic: “university. It” runs together, and several statements begin with lowercase letters after full stops. Most clauses rely on simple patterns, with limited accurate variation. Practise forming complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and use consistent present-tense reporting structures, such as “Full-time postgraduates account for 25%.”
