Student answer (Band 5.0)
It is believed by many that schools should also provide co-curriculars activities along with study. I am fully with theirs believes as outdoor activities as good for both mental and physical health.
Sports activities along with education is a best mix up for growing students. A boring routine of only class work and home lesson is not a good education practice done by various city institutions. A very famous boarding school just lost all its value, because they focused only on study and learning, in order to gain highest result among all schools, but as result came out, there students failed to get desired marks just because of mental pressure. Students should be involved in various other beneficials works to remain physical active.
One other important factor is, such extra interactions boost a student confidence. It helps them to choose their careers according to their interests. To develop such of knowledge, governments should organized various sports festivals and competitions, to attract the student towards physicals activities. For instance, in March, there is an annual sport festival is held in Punjab. Students from all over the province participate in it. more than 25 different sports were played there. Wines got cash prices as well as medals. Recently a bill has been passed it China's parliament, to make sure that every institute should organize sports activities.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which significantly impacts the development of ideas. While you address both parts of the prompt—agreeing that schools focus too much on formal learning and explaining the importance of play—the arguments are underdeveloped. The essay ends abruptly at 'In conclusion,' without providing a summary or final thought. To improve, you must expand your supporting points with more depth and ensure the essay is complete. The failure to reach the word count and the incomplete structure prevent a higher score.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay shows some logical organization, with paragraphs dedicated to the benefits of sports and the role of institutions. However, the progression is hindered by the incomplete conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'For instance' and 'One other important factor,' but they are sometimes used mechanically. The referencing is occasionally unclear, and the lack of a proper conclusion disrupts the overall flow of the argument. To improve, ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence and that the essay concludes in a way that synthesizes the main points.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward word choices and non-standard collocations, such as 'mix up' instead of 'combination,' 'beneficials works' instead of 'beneficial activities,' and 'Wines' instead of 'Winners.' These errors occasionally impede the reader's understanding. To improve, focus on learning word families and common collocations rather than individual words, and proofread to ensure that the terms used are contextually appropriate.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The response contains frequent grammatical errors that affect clarity. Examples include 'I am fully with theirs believes' (I fully agree with their belief), 'as outdoor activities as good' (as outdoor activities are good), and 'governments should organized' (should organize). There is a limited range of complex structures, and the errors in basic subject-verb agreement and tense usage are noticeable. While the meaning is generally understandable, the frequency of these errors requires attention. Focus on mastering basic sentence construction and subject-verb agreement before attempting more complex grammatical structures.
