Student answer (Band 5.0)
Few people deabte that primary institutions pay attention very much on formal learning. It is very useful activity for the kids in the school to learn formal lesson because this can help them to grow with educational materials.
It is very helpful activity for the students to adopt formal lessons in their institutes by available teachers on daily basis. Because if students learn these formal lectures along their playing activity this can boost their mind with useful materials that can help them for a long time. For example a student with high quality of playing skills do not know the basic ethics is useless, but if we allow our teachers to give them lectures and share tips and tricks with them it will help the childrens to keep these things in their mind for a long time. This can help them to be a better kid.
Many things can be done for the students in primary institutes to teach them formal learning. Like arranged few extra classes in the school and in this time period students can only learn basic things about formal education. Also provide a specail guide book for this purpose because it can help childrens to become great students and gets educational knowledge as well along with playing activities.
In conclusion, it is super necesaary to teach childrens formal learning in the primary institutes because with this activity we can save our students future by giving them educational knowledge and can convert our school students from zero to hero. Little efforts are just required from the management of the institute to arrange some extra lectures for better and bright future of kids.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing formal learning in primary schools and the importance of play alongside study. However, the development of ideas is limited and somewhat repetitive. For example, the student mentions that formal learning helps kids grow with educational materials, but this point lacks depth and clear examples. The second part of the prompt regarding the importance of play is only briefly touched upon with a rudimentary example about a student lacking ethics. The position is discernible, but the overall development remains underdeveloped and leans toward generalization. This aligns closely with Band 5 descriptors, where the task is addressed, but ideas lack sufficient extension and support.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is divided into four paragraphs, providing a basic structural framework with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, the overall progression of ideas is hindered by repetitive phrasing and awkward transitions. Cohesive devices are sometimes used mechanically, such as 'For example' and 'In conclusion', but referencing within sentences is frequently unclear, as seen in phrases like 'this can help them to be a better kid' where antecedents are vague. Paragraphing is attempted, but internal cohesion lacks smooth logical links, placing the response securely in Band 5.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is basic, repetitive, and at times unnatural. Examples include 'primary institutions', 'educational materials', and 'convert our school students from zero to hero'. There are frequent word choice errors, such as 'deabte' (spelling), 'specail', and 'necesaary'. The range of vocabulary is limited to everyday words, and attempts to use more complex phrases result in awkward collocations. Because the errors cause some difficulty for the reader and the range is restricted, this performance corresponds to a Band 4.5, rounded to 5.0 based on positive achievement.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5
The response exhibits a very limited range of grammatical structures. Most sentences are simple or poorly constructed complex forms that contain frequent errors. Examples of structural and grammatical errors include 'pay attention very much on', 'childrens', 'gets educational knowledge', and run-on sentences like 'Because if students learn these formal lectures along their playing activity this can boost their mind...'. Punctuation is also erratic, missing commas after introductory phrases. These frequent grammatical errors cause strain and difficulty for the reader, fitting the Band 4.0 or 4.5 profile closely.
