Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is widely argued that primary instituations pay attention towards on formal learning. I strongly disgree with this notion that formal learning is an essential but primary schools should also focus on co-corricular activities due to the reason that they are significant for both physical and mental well-being.
To begin with, primary schools are the fundamental place, where minors can learn from very basic level. Formal learning is indispansable because they provide knowledge and educated them. Nevertheless, just focus on , did not consider a appropriate strategy. The reason is that, children can easily get bore from their course studies and eventually lose interest in studies. For instance, In Pakistan, now primary schools are not paying attention towards conventional and formal learning, they are engaging students in other co-rricular activites which have a number of benefits on their health. Therefore, just do concentration on formal learing is schools is not a beneficial.
Furthermore, to play with the children in classroom play a significant role in the education of them. The reason is that, when teacher play with them in classroom in they same way as he teach them, create a very friendly and affectionate bound with them. The fear in children about their teacher disappers and they start to learn things more sharply. To illustrate, to play with kids in primary schools in their classrooms has great importance regarding their mental and physical health, which they take part in games acivities, which create a good affects on their mind and body.
In conclusion, although formal learnig is crucial for children during their primary schooling , introducing other co-corricular activities play a significant role in well functioning of their mind as well as their body.
Hence, to play with them in classroom will be good approac

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The student addresses both parts of the prompt: they express a clear position disagreeing that primary schools focus too much on formal learning, and they discuss the importance of play alongside learning. The ideas are relevant and supported by examples, such as the mention of schools in Pakistan. However, some arguments lack full extension and suffer from repetition. For instance, the discussion around children getting bored and playing in classrooms is somewhat underdeveloped. While the prompt asks about the extent of agreement and the importance of play, the response covers these aspects sufficiently to meet the criteria for Band 6.0, as all parts are addressed with relevant, if slightly limited, ideas.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall arrangement with logical paragraphing, separating the introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are used to signal transitions, such as 'To begin with', 'Furthermore', and 'In conclusion'. However, referencing and cohesion are sometimes faulty or mechanical. For example, sentences like 'The reason is that, children can easily get bore' and 'the education of them' disrupt the flow. Paragraphing is present and appropriate, but logical progression within paragraphs is occasionally hindered by awkward phrasing and repetition, placing it firmly at Band 6.0.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting less common items such as 'indispensable', 'co-curricular activities', and 'affectionate'. However, there are numerous word choice and spelling errors throughout the text, including 'instituations', 'disgree', 'indispansable', 'bore' instead of 'bored', 'learing' instead of 'learning', 'bound' instead of 'bond', 'disappers', and 'approac'. These errors demonstrate a limited control over spelling and word forms, though they do not completely impede communication. This fits the Band 5.0 descriptor, where noticeable errors exist.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The student attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, such as conditional and relative clauses ('primary schools are the fundamental place, where minors can learn'). However, there is a high frequency of grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues ('formal learning is indispansable because they provide', 'games acivities, which create a good affects'), incorrect preposition usage ('pay attention towards on', 'just do concentration on'), and incomplete sentence structures in the conclusion ('will be good approac'). Because errors are frequent and occasionally cause difficulty for the reader, despite the attempt at complex structures, a Band 5.0 is appropriate.
