Student answer (Band 5.0)
In recent years, most elementary school in many countries promote formal learning over other mean leraning method. There some people argue the this is the best teaching method while some consider that children want to focus on both thing playing as well as studing also. In my opinion the structural teaching is more logical and beneficial for youngsters over other method although the playing is also necessary for them. So, they want to follow both teaching with their unique benefits.
On the one hand, the formal learning is more helpful for the students as to create their base for further tasks in their future. To be more percise, this method provide them with multifarious advantages such as the students able to perform their tasks with scheduled timing which is more time convenient and efficitive for them not only this they have define learning objectives and assessment to fulfil which is also essential for themto be successfull by following a structured curriculum. For instance, in most countries they go with formal method to elevate their efficiency.
On the other hand, the playing and skill learning also crucial form them it also play important role in their overall development. Primarily, the games and experience are the vital parts which give them a way of thinking and performing projects. However, those thinks increase their productive and creativity so, they have the availability of critical thinking to complete their working with most convenient way.
To conclude, both ways have their own plus point but in my opinion the formal learning is necessary for the children for their bright future with learning new skills while playing to refresh their minds.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses all parts of the two-part prompt by discussing both the extent of agreement regarding formal learning and the importance of play in primary schools. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive. The writer states a position that formal learning is more beneficial while play is also necessary, but the supporting arguments lack depth and specific examples. Phrases like 'in most countries they go with formal method to elevate their efficiency' are vague and under-developed. While the core questions are answered, the overall treatment of the ideas remains at a superficial level, aligning closely with the Band 5 descriptor.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay is organized into four distinct paragraphs, including an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion, showing a basic structural layout. However, the logical progression is frequently disrupted by awkward transitions and confusing sentence connections. For instance, the transition 'On the other hand, the playing and skill learning also crucial form them' is grammatically disjointed and fails to properly introduce a contrasting point. Cohesive devices are often inadequate or misused, such as 'To be more percise' and 'however, those thinks increase their productive and creativity so'. Paragraphing is attempted, but internal cohesion is weak, leading to an overall score of 5.0.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary range is limited and frequently repetitive, relying on basic terms like 'formal learning', 'playing', and 'children'. There are numerous noticeable word-choice and spelling errors that stem from a lack of control over word forms, such as 'mean leraning method', 'studing', 'percise', 'efficitive', 'successfull', 'productive', and 'plus point'. These errors occasionally cause difficulty for the reader and obscure the precise meaning of the arguments. While the vocabulary is minimally adequate to convey the general topic, it lacks the flexibility and precision required for higher band levels.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but these attempts are frequently faulty and fraught with basic grammatical errors. Sentences often lack essential verbs or have incorrect subject-verb agreement, as seen in 'There some people argue the this is the best teaching method' and 'the playing and skill learning also crucial form them'. Punctuation and article usage are also problematic throughout the response. Because frequent errors cause considerable difficulty for the reader and impede smooth comprehension, the grammar performance falls squarely into Band 4.5, rounding to 5.0.
