Some advantages are, the education institutes are focusing more on structural learning than their alternative methods because formal learning techniques allow student to plan a proper structure for their learning and to start by doing few basic steps. Moreover, proper planning help students to study in an appropriate way and by studying in a good atmosphere they will automatically build a good recognizing system. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses all parts of the two-part prompt by stating a clear position on formal learning in primary schools and discussing both aspects, though the development of ideas is somewhat superficial and repetitive. The writer states, 'I completely agree with this statement,' and attempts to provide reasons regarding structured learning, yet the support tends to drift into vague assertions rather than well-extended examples. For instance, the mention of 'searching engines' and 'applications particularly based on AI' is introduced without explaining how these relate directly to the balance between play and formal learning. Furthermore, the second body paragraph discusses counter-arguments and informal learning in a slightly confusing manner. Overall, the task is addressed, but ideas lack the depth and extension required for a higher band.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response demonstrates some organisation with basic paragraphing and signposting phrases such as 'Moreover,' 'Furthermore,' and 'In conclusion.' However, the logical progression is frequently disrupted by awkward transitions, sentence fragments, and unclear referencing. For example, the sentence 'However, my viewpoint is discuss further' is ungrammatical and fails to link smoothly to the preceding text. Cohesive devices are at times misused or mechanical, and the overall flow is hindered by abrupt shifts in topic between paragraphs. Paragraphing is attempted, but internal cohesion within the paragraphs is weak, making it difficult for the reader to follow the train of thought effortlessly.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is generally basic and repetitive, with several noticeable errors in word choice and word formation that impede clear communication. Examples include 'planned base education' instead of 'activity-based' or 'formal education,' 'stepwise manner,' and 'authorise goals.' There are also spelling errors such as 'slove' and 'baisc.' While the student attempts some less common terms like 'circumstances' and 'self-directed studies,' inaccurate collocations and frequent lexical slips restrict the range and precision. The vocabulary is minimally adequate to convey a basic argument, placing it firmly at band 5.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The essay displays a very limited range of grammatical structures, relying heavily on simple and faulty complex sentences. There are frequent, heavy grammatical errors that consistently cause difficulty for the reader and distort meaning. Examples include 'were the education is taught in stepwise manner to fulfill every goals,' 'critics argued that... maybe not that much beneficial,' and 'the students must be teached in a informal way were unstructured studies have been taught.' Subject-verb agreement errors, incorrect verb forms ('teached'), and persistent punctuation and tense inconsistencies are evident throughout. Complex structures are attempted but are almost always grammatically flawed.
