Student answer (Band 5.0)
It has been observed that, some individual believe that elementary schools too much focus on predefined syllabus. I partly agree with this view. From my percepctive, it is significant for the children to learn in the primary classroom as well as plays games .My preference is justified in the upcoming paragrapghs with relevant examples.
According to my point of you, it is very crucial for the children to learn structured and planned education at primary schools. The foremost one is that formal learning helps students gain knowledge and develop important skiils under the guidance of qualified teachers. By this i mean, students attend college, where teachers explain different subjects and help them improve their skills
Furthermore, fomal learning not only crucial for the children but also playing games with very beneficial for them.To elaborate ,if children plays games so they can improve their health. I think teacher learn with play games so it may be very exiciting for the children beacause some time students do not have any interest to learn subjects .Therefore , it is great way to juvenile focus on thier study.
To conclude, i partly agree with this statement because i believe both are very crucial for them .In primary school ,formal learning helps students gain information and improve their skills under the teachers. However , plays games significant role in children life because playing different types of game children learn how to become healthy.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You state a position—“I partly agree”—and mention both formal learning and play, so the response is relevant to the question. However, the discussion only partially answers the task: the reasons for formal learning are general, and the benefits of play are mainly reduced to improving health and making lessons exciting. The question asks how important play is alongside learning, but this importance is not clearly explained or compared with formal study. The example about children attending “college” is also unclear in a primary-school context. The response is 13 words below the required minimum, which limits the space available to develop your ideas. Add a specific classroom example and explain how play supports learning as well as wellbeing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. The first body paragraph focuses on formal learning, while the next turns to games, giving the reader a basic sense of organisation. However, progression within paragraphs is limited, and several linking expressions feel mechanical or do not clearly connect the ideas, such as “Furthermore” and “Therefore.” The conclusion repeats points from the introduction rather than drawing the argument together. Some references are also difficult to follow, particularly “teacher learn with play games.” To improve, organise each body paragraph around one clear main point, explain it, and then give a relevant example. Use linking words only where they show a genuine relationship between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “formal learning,” “qualified teachers,” “subjects,” and “health.” This gives the response enough basic language to communicate its main subject. However, the range is limited and several phrases are inaccurate or unnatural, which sometimes makes the meaning difficult to understand. Examples include “predefined syllabus,” “my point of you,” and “juvenile focus on thier study.” Spelling errors such as “percepctive,” “skiils,” and “exiciting” are also noticeable. Aim to learn common word partnerships for education and play, and check spelling carefully. More precise expressions would help you explain the benefits of classroom activities without relying on repeated general words such as “crucial” and “significant.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a reason introduced by “because” and a contrast with “However.” Nevertheless, the range is limited, and attempts at more complex structures are often faulty. For example, “if children plays games so they can improve their health” has problems with subject–verb agreement and clause construction, while “playing games with very beneficial for them” is missing a grammatical verb form. There are also errors with articles, plurals and sentence boundaries, as in “in primary school” and “different types of game children learn.” These errors sometimes make the reader work to understand your meaning. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and one supporting clause, then check agreement and punctuation.
