Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0

You address all three points clearly: you propose a riverside camping get-together, explain that it would offer busy friends a break and let families join, and request help with the menu, music, invitations, and budgeting. The plan is relevant and the detail about a group of 100–120 people makes it concrete. Your purpose and friendly relationship with Rohit are also clear. To develop the ideas more fully, explain briefly how the event would bring classmates together or why camping suits this anniversary, rather than relying mainly on the general benefit of escaping routine. You could also make the requested help more specific—for example, ask Rohit to take responsibility for invitations or coordinate the music.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0

The letter follows a clear progression from reconnecting and introducing the idea, to explaining the event, then asking for help and closing. Paragraphing supports this sequence, and phrases such as “As this is going to be” signal the shift to practical arrangements. The reader can follow the proposal without difficulty. Some links between ideas are compressed, however: the sentence about the weekend, family invitations, and your friend who manages the campsite combines several points at once. Separating these details would make the organisation more controlled. The opening and closing could also be more clearly separated from the main paragraphs, and a few transitions could show more explicitly how the event’s benefits lead to the specific arrangements.

Lexical Resource: Band 6.0

You use an adequate range for a friendly planning letter, including relevant expressions such as “raise a toast,” “riverside camping,” “barbeque dinner,” and “budgeting.” These choices communicate the event and the help required. There are, however, several spelling errors, including “theri,” “cherrish,” “frined,” and “arrangments,” and some phrases are not natural in context. “Hectic routine” and “quick relief from day to day life” could be expressed more idiomatically, while “assertive towards this plan” does not convey the intended meaning of being enthusiastic or supportive. Aim for accurate spelling and natural collocations, especially in the closing and when describing the event’s benefits.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0

You use a mix of simple and more developed sentence forms, and the main message remains clear. For example, the sentence beginning “As this is going to be…” links the expected attendance with the practical arrangements. Some grammatical errors remain. The opening “Its been so long we had last seen eachother” needs an apostrophe and a clearer tense construction, such as “It’s been so long since we last saw each other.” In “All of our friends are so busy in hectic routine,” the article and preposition pattern need attention. The long sentence about the weekend also joins several clauses without clear punctuation. Review tense choices, articles, and sentence boundaries to make these structures more accurate.
