Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You address the main purpose by proposing a class reunion and explaining that it would let former classmates meet again. You also add a fundraising idea, including support for retired professors and improvements to the college, which gives the letter a relevant purpose. However, the requested help is not clearly described: “i hope you cooperate with my plan” is a general appeal rather than a specific request, such as asking your friend to contact classmates or arrange a venue. The celebration itself is also only briefly explained, and the benefits are repeated rather than developed. To make the response more complete, state exactly what you want your friend to do and give a clearer plan for the event.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The reader can follow the broad sequence: you introduce the reunion, explain why meeting again matters, and then describe fundraising and its intended beneficiaries. This gives the letter some organisation. However, most ideas are crowded into one long paragraph, so the shift from celebrating with classmates to raising money for the college is abrupt. Connections such as “its better” are repeated, while some references in “the money that maybe collected in our reunion” are not expressed clearly. Use separate paragraphs for the event, its benefits, and the help you need, and connect each point with clear transitions. A conventional greeting and sign-off would also make the letter’s structure easier to recognise.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “reunion,” “fund raising activity,” “financial help,” and “classrooms.” These choices help communicate the general idea, but the range is limited and several expressions are inaccurate or awkward, sometimes making the reader pause. For example, “a grand reunionof our class” and “a budget came into our fundraising activity” do not express the intended meaning naturally. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “contibution,” “porpose,” and “recive.” Build a more precise set of event-planning phrases and check spelling carefully; for instance, describe the money as funds raised and specify how they will be used.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt to combine ideas in longer sentences, for example when explaining how the funds could help professors and improve the school. However, the response relies heavily on simple patterns, and attempts at longer sentences are often faulty, which can make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Examples include “Its been a ten years after our graduation” and “This reunion has a memorable to all of us.” Verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries also need attention; several clauses run together without clear punctuation. Practise writing complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, then combine them using accurate conjunctions. Proofreading for capitals and full stops will make your meaning easier to understand.
