Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You address all three points: you propose a reunion at Mahal Hall, explain that it would help everyone relax and reconnect, and ask Nitika to contact classmates and help decide on decorations. The personal reason—that you may move abroad—also makes the invitation meaningful. This covers the task well, but some details are less fully developed: for example, you do not say when the event might take place or specify how Nitika could help with the decorations. The reason for celebrating is clear, though the phrase about “reliving these last days” is confusing because the anniversary marks ten years since college. Clarifying that you want to revisit shared memories would make the purpose more precise.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter has a recognisable structure, with an opening, paragraphs about arrangements and reasons, and a friendly closing. The ideas are generally relevant and the reader can follow the main message. However, the progression within the second paragraph is crowded: the venue, contacting classmates, and decoration ideas are placed together, while “Moreover” is used again to introduce the next paragraph. Some references are also unclear, such as “we can put” after the suggestion of memorable pictures. Grouping the practical arrangements into a clear paragraph and using more precise links between ideas would make the organisation smoother and less mechanical.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use a range of relevant expressions, including “in the pink of health,” “golden time,” “stress free,” and “unforgettable,” which help create a warm, personal tone. There are also attempts at less common phrasing, but several choices or spellings are inaccurate and sometimes make the meaning less clear: “celebrate the tenth college anniversary” is not a natural way to describe a reunion, and “future settings” does not clearly express your plans to move abroad. Errors such as “calssmates,” “loacted,” and “celeberation” are noticeable. Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling, especially in key phrases about the event and your plans.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a sentence explaining your possible move abroad and its effect on the reunion. The main message remains understandable, but some grammatical errors occur. For example, “ask your help” needs a different pattern, and “The place for celebration which i booked is in Mahal hall” has an awkward relative clause and article use. The long sentence beginning “Other reason is” also needs clearer sentence boundaries and more controlled punctuation. Capitalisation of “I” is inconsistent. Practise building complex sentences with clear clauses, and check articles, prepositions, and punctuation so that your ideas read more smoothly.
