Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three points: you propose a hotel gathering with snacks and music, explain that it would bring classmates together and create happy memories, and ask Ali to invite friends whose addresses you do not have. These details make the purpose clear and relevant. The explanation of why this format would be enjoyable is present, but it is brief, and the request for help could be more specific—for example, asking Ali to confirm who can attend or help coordinate invitations. The opening also includes an unclear account of searching for Ali and suffering hardships, which distracts from the anniversary purpose. Develop the reasons and practical arrangements more fully, while keeping the letter focused on the reunion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter has a generally clear sequence: you introduce the reunion, describe the planned event, explain its purpose, and then ask Ali for help. Paragraphing supports this progression, and phrases such as “You know that” and “The only help I needed from you” guide the reader between ideas. However, the opening sentence about searching for Ali and suffering hardships is difficult to connect to the event, and some links within sentences are awkward, such as “so, I want to make this event…” The final request also combines inviting friends with arriving on time, making the actions less clearly separated. Use clearer transitions and organise each paragraph around one main purpose to make the cohesion more natural.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use a relevant range of vocabulary for a personal invitation, including “celebration,” “snacks,” “music party,” “happiness and pleasure,” and “good memory.” These choices help communicate the event and its intended atmosphere. However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable, including “writting,” “sufering,” “fimd,” and “occassion,” and some expressions are unnatural or imprecise, such as “on a event,” “a source of happiness,” and “be reached on time.” The repeated use of “event” and “help” also limits variety. Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully; for example, “reunion,” “venue,” and “get in touch” would suit this context.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including “After completing our college we all goes in different directions…” and “You know that we meeting after a very long time so…” This shows an effort to connect ideas, and the overall meaning is usually understandable. Some grammatical errors remain in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction. For instance, “we all goes” should be “we all went,” “we meeting” needs “we are meeting,” and “on a event” should be “at an event.” The long opening sentence also needs clearer punctuation and structure. Practise checking subject–verb agreement, tense consistency, and articles, then divide long sentences where needed.
