Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address all three requested points: you propose a celebration with dancing, dinner and games, explain that it would help everyone revisit college memories, and ask your friend to help with the event, menu and gifts. The specific ideas about a venue, prizes and classmates sharing stories make the plan relevant and engaging. However, some parts are less fully explained than others. For example, you mention that the event will strengthen your connection and help children learn about college life, but you could clarify why these outcomes matter to you and your classmates. The request for help is also broad; specify particular tasks your friend could take responsibility for. Overall, the purpose and main details are clear, though some ideas need fuller development.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The letter follows a generally understandable sequence: you introduce the reunion, describe activities, then discuss the date and ask for help. This gives the reader a basic sense of the plan. However, most of the event details are crowded into one long paragraph, so the progression is difficult to follow. Several ideas run together, particularly the activities, prizes, speeches and children learning about college life. Use separate paragraphs for the event plan and your request, and organise the activities in a clearer order. Linking phrases such as “After the games” or “To finish the evening” would make the sequence easier to track. The closing is appropriate, but the shift from planning details to the invitation could be smoother.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant vocabulary for a reunion, including “anniversary,” “activities,” “memories,” “games,” “dinner” and “gifts,” so the reader can understand the general plan. There are also attempts to describe specific features, such as prizes and a “funny punishment.” However, spelling errors and imprecise or unnatural word choices are noticeable, including “diffrents,” “recape,” “price distibution” and “last rank person.” These sometimes make details harder to interpret. Aim for accurate, natural phrases such as “a variety of games,” “reminisce about our college days,” and “award prizes to the winners.” Check spelling carefully and choose words that express the intended meaning precisely.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the reader can usually understand the main message. However, control of sentence structure and verb forms is inconsistent. For example, “we celebrated our ten-year anniversary” conflicts with the future plan you are describing, while “if you will come” is not the appropriate form for this conditional invitation. There are also problems with articles, agreement and sentence boundaries, as in “its a best time” and the long sequence beginning “I'm thinking about activities.” Use future forms consistently for the planned event, and divide long strings of ideas into complete sentences. More accurate punctuation and a wider range of controlled sentence patterns would make the letter clearer.
