Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0

You show that you want to reconnect with former classmates and celebrate the ten-year anniversary, so the general purpose is relevant. However, the three required points are not clearly addressed: you do not specify what kind of event you propose, explain why that format would be suitable, or say what help you need from your friend. Phrases such as “organise celebrate my anniversary” and “attend me this special time” suggest an invitation, but the plan remains unclear and the focus shifts between a personal anniversary and a college reunion. To strengthen the letter, state a specific event, give a reason for choosing it, and make a direct request for practical help, such as contacting classmates or booking a venue.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.5

There is a basic attempt to address classmates directly and to move from greetings and memories to the proposed celebration. However, the ideas are not arranged into clear paragraphs, and the progression is difficult to follow. Several thoughts run together in long strings, particularly the section beginning “and now my advice to all of you,” while connectors such as “however” and repeated “and” do not show the relationships between ideas clearly. References such as “this special time” and “they” are also unclear. Organise the letter into short paragraphs—opening, event and reasons, then the help requested—and use simple linking phrases such as “I suggest,” “because,” and “Could you help me by…?”

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some vocabulary relevant to the relationship and occasion, including “classmates,” “college friends,” “celebrate,” and “special day.” These words make the general topic recognisable. However, the range is limited and several choices or combinations are unclear, such as “reganiozed celebrate,” “attend me,” and “engaged all us.” Spelling and word-form problems, including “collge,” also make parts of the message harder to understand. Aim for precise phrases that fit a reunion letter, such as “organise a reunion,” “attend the event,” and “bring everyone together.” This would make your meaning clearer while retaining the friendly tone you are trying to create.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.0

The response attempts to communicate through simple statements and some longer sentences, but sentence structures are often incomplete or joined without clear punctuation. For example, “How are you my name is shah faisal” combines separate ideas without appropriate sentence boundaries, and “i am enjoy and best time spend” does not form a complete, accurate clause. Verb forms and agreement are also unreliable, as in “we are classmates since 10 years ago” and “i hope me you are all Happy.” These problems frequently make the intended relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Practise accurate basic patterns first, such as “We have been classmates for ten years” and “I hope you are all well,” then build longer sentences with clear punctuation.
