Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address the three requested points: you propose a celebration at the museum garden, explain that it would combine entertainment with career opportunities, and ask your friend to help with catering and decorations. These details make the letter relevant, but the event plan is not always clear or fully developed. For example, the invitation to “leaders who serve to our nation” and the seminar by companies are mentioned without explaining how they fit into the anniversary celebration. The reason for choosing this format is also brief, and the help requested could be more specific about what your friend should arrange. Develop these points and make the purpose of each activity clearer.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The letter has a recognisable sequence: you introduce the plan, describe activities, give a reason, and then request help. Paragraph breaks also separate the main stages, and linking expressions such as “first of all,” “secondly,” and “Furthermore” help signal the list of activities. However, the progression can feel mechanical, and some connections between ideas are unclear. The shift from a college reunion to schoolchildren performing and a career seminar needs a clearer explanation. The phrase “these event” also makes the reference to the proposed celebration less precise. Use fewer list-like transitions and connect each activity explicitly to the anniversary and your reason for choosing it.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some vocabulary suited to the topic, including “celebrate,” “folk dance,” “career options,” “catering,” and “decorations,” so the reader can understand the general plan. However, the range is limited and several spelling, word-form, and collocation errors make the letter less natural, such as “plnning,” “accomodate,” “performace,” “opprtunities,” and “manage all things.” Phrases such as “college event” and “future growth” are also vague for this context. Aim for accurate, natural expressions such as “college reunion,” “accommodate a large group,” and “coordinate the arrangements.” Proofreading spelling and choosing more precise event-related vocabulary would make your ideas easier to follow.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including “In my point of view these event help full for all people as it has entertainment as well as great opprtunities for future growth.” This shows an effort to explain and give reasons, but errors in sentence structure, agreement, articles, and punctuation are frequent enough to affect clarity. For example, “these event help” needs a plural subject and matching verb, while “the event place at central museum garden” needs a complete verb construction. Several sentences also run together without spaces after full stops. Practise building accurate sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check agreement and punctuation before submitting. More reliable control of these basics will support your longer sentence attempts.
