Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address all three requested points: you propose a celebration at a café lounge, give reasons such as enjoying the venue and bringing classmates together, and ask John to help find classmates’ contact details. These are relevant ideas, but the explanation of why this format would be good is brief and partly unclear, especially “maybe that's good idea” and “also we are enjoying this party.” The request for help is clearer, though it could specify practical tasks such as contacting people or confirming attendance. The letter’s purpose is understandable, but the ideas remain limited and under-developed, and the reader is not given a clear, fully explained plan.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response follows a broadly sensible order: it introduces the anniversary, suggests a venue and activities, explains the appeal, and asks for help. However, these points are crowded into one paragraph, so the progression is difficult to follow. Several ideas run together in “dinner, disco and bar,What is your decision,” and the repeated references to finding classmates’ contact numbers make the ending feel repetitive. Linking words such as “also” and “because” are used, but connections between ideas are sometimes unclear or mechanical. Separate paragraphs for the proposal, its benefits, and the request would make the letter easier to read and give each point a clearer purpose.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the basic plan, including “celebrate this anniversary,” “classmates,” “cafe lounge,” “dinner,” and “old memories.” However, the range is limited and some word choices or collocations make the message less natural, such as “My according,” “in my touch,” and “super and very cheaper.” Spelling errors, including “Writting,” “contects,” and “waitinng,” are noticeable and can slow the reader. Aim for more precise, conventional phrases for organising an event and describing its benefits. A wider set of accurate expressions would help you explain the plan more clearly and naturally.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The letter communicates its main message, but sentence structures are mostly simple or joined together, and attempts to express more complex ideas are often inaccurate. For example, “I am organise an event” has an incorrect verb form, while “it is ten years since left college” omits a subject. “I hope you are understand my feelings” also uses an incorrect verb pattern. Missing sentence boundaries and punctuation in “bar,What is your decision” make the structure harder to follow. Practise forming complete sentences with accurate tense and verb patterns, and use full stops to separate the proposal, reasons, and request. More controlled sentence variety would improve clarity.
