Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three requested points: you propose a reunion, explain that it would let classmates reconnect and meet one another’s families, and ask your friend to help find an affordable venue. These are relevant ideas, and the purpose of the letter is clear. However, the event itself is only broadly described as a “big reunion”; adding practical details such as a meal, activities, or a date would make the proposal more fully developed. The request for help is also limited to finding a place, and the unfinished closing thought (“i will hope to reach back from”) leaves the next step unclear. Develop these details so each part of the task is covered more completely.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The letter has a clear overall sequence: an opening, the proposed reunion, reasons for holding it, and a request for help. Paragraph breaks support this progression, and links such as “so” and “we can also” help connect ideas. This gives the response a coherent structure. Some connections are less smooth, however: “I have been thinking of this from last 5 years” moves abruptly into the anniversary, and the final request trails off before the sign-off. The opening also combines several ideas in one long sentence. Use clearer transitions between the background and proposal, and complete the closing request so the reader can follow the letter’s progression without interruption.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use vocabulary relevant to the occasion, including “reunion,” “anniversary,” “affordable place,” and “relive all our memories,” so the main message is understandable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations sound unnatural, such as “gathering party,” “get rebonded,” and “in known of you.” Spelling errors, including “wrtting,” “freinds,” and “stutend,” also make the writing less polished. Aim for natural phrases that fit an informal letter, and check spelling carefully. For example, “organise a reunion” and “reconnect with each other” express your ideas more idiomatically and precisely.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more developed sentences, including “we can also meet each others families as most of them were married in past years,” and the reader can generally understand your meaning. However, errors in verb forms, articles, prepositions, and sentence boundaries occur across the letter. Examples include “Its been long time ago we met,” “I would like organise,” and “I also want some help from you in find.” The final sentence is incomplete, and punctuation and capitalisation are inconsistent. Practise forming complete clauses and checking verb patterns: for instance, use “I would like to organise” and “help finding a suitable place.” More accurate sentence construction would make your ideas easier to read.
