Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address the main purpose of the letter by proposing a college reunion, mentioning activities, inviting former teachers and families, and asking Karthik to share missing friends’ contact details. These points cover the requested celebration and practical help. However, the event itself is not described consistently: “upcoming meeting” is vague, and “some singing events and some spots activity” does not clearly explain the programme. The reason for celebrating this way is also unclear; the comments about understanding “strentn and physical activity” do not explain why a reunion with these activities would be enjoyable or meaningful. Develop this rationale and specify the help you need, such as collecting contacts or coordinating an activity, to make the response more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The letter follows a broadly sensible order: you introduce the reunion, describe the venue and activities, then ask for help and close. The greeting and sign-off also suit the letter format. However, ideas are crowded into long blocks, and the progression is sometimes difficult to follow. For example, the sentence beginning “For this way celebrate” moves from the purpose of the event to teachers and family enjoyment without clear links. Some connections are abrupt, as in “I need some help from you / Actully i miised some friends address.” Use separate paragraphs for the event, its benefits, and your request, and connect each point with clear transitions. Check that pronouns such as “every one” refer clearly to the people you mean.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some relevant vocabulary for a reunion letter, including “college friends,” “principal,” “teachers,” “singing events,” and “family.” This gives the reader a general sense of the occasion. However, the range is limited and several word choices or spellings make meaning unclear, such as “spots activity,” “strentn,” “intresting,” and “invition.” Phrases such as “upcoming meeting” and “for this way celebrate” are also not natural descriptions of a college anniversary. Aim for precise, familiar expressions and check spelling carefully. More accurate event vocabulary would help you explain the plan and its benefits without relying on repeated general words such as “events” and “fun.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt to communicate several connected ideas, but sentence structures are mostly simple or joined together without reliable control. Errors in verb forms and missing auxiliaries appear in “we are goinhg to celebrate,” “I am going invite,” and “This meeting going to be held.” Articles and prepositions are also inaccurate, as in “writing to the letter” and “permission to our college principal.” Punctuation and capitalisation need attention: “How are you , Hope…” joins two sentences incorrectly, while the final request runs on. These errors sometimes make the reader work to understand the message. Practise complete sentence patterns, especially future forms (“we are going to…”), and use full stops to separate each main idea.
