Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address all three points: you propose a reunion with games, dancing and a meal; explain that it would let classmates reconnect and take a break from work and family responsibilities; and ask Raman for help, especially with choosing food. These details make the purpose clear and relevant. The event plan is the strongest part, while the reason for celebrating is less fully explained: “new energy” is vague, and the request for help could be more specific about what Raman should do, such as contact classmates or help arrange the venue. Developing those points would make the letter more complete and persuasive.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The letter has a clear overall sequence: you introduce the reunion, describe the activities, explain the benefits, and then ask for help. Separate paragraphs help the reader follow these stages, and phrases such as “Apart from this” and “because” show how ideas relate. This already gives the response a coherent structure. However, some connections are awkward or unclear, particularly the long sentence beginning “i am planning for games” and the shift from the event plan to “we can have a fun.” Use full stops to separate the activities and make the request its own focused paragraph. More precise links between ideas would make the progression smoother.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant vocabulary for a reunion, including “trivia,” “dance,” “appetizers,” “dinner,” and “reconnect,” so the reader can understand the event you have in mind. There are also attempts to express less routine ideas, such as spending “quality time” and gaining “new energy.” However, several spelling and word-choice errors reduce accuracy, including “classates,” “gettogether,” and “responsibilties.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “helding a party” and “your helping hand to organising.” Choose standard collocations and check spelling carefully; this would make your vocabulary more precise and natural while retaining the friendly tone.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, for example, explaining the benefits with “because” and adding a reason with “which will provide new energy.” The main message remains understandable, but errors in verb forms, articles, agreement and sentence boundaries are noticeable. Examples include “i am helding,” “it's been a ten year,” and “we all can send our quality time.” The sentence joining the games, dancing, music and food also needs clearer punctuation and structure. Practise accurate past and present forms, article use, and complete sentence construction; then check capitalisation and punctuation so your varied ideas are easier to read.
