It is of paramount importance to have at least one hobby no matter whether individual is a child, adult, employee or retired because hobbies can act as a recreational activity for them along with that hobbies can also be transformed into a successful career.

The primary benefit of having a hobby is that it can act as a recreational activity enabling people to relieve stress and enjoy their life. A hobby is a act that a individual is quite keen on, it allows society members to take their mind off from their daily demanding schedule. Moreover, when individuals are experiencing stress they can pursue their hobby, which allows them to relax, hence reducing stress. For example if a person loves swiming, he could swin into a lake with his friends and can convert it into a wonderfull picnic, which help them to relax and take their mind off the work.

Another significant benefit of having a hobby is that it can be transformed into a successful career. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses all parts of the prompt, acknowledging the importance of hobbies for various age groups and providing two main arguments: stress relief and career development. The position is clear throughout. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While the example of Virat Kohli is relevant, the explanation of how hobbies benefit children or the retired is quite generic. To reach a higher band, you should provide more specific, nuanced examples for each group mentioned in the prompt, rather than grouping them together under broad statements. The conclusion is a bit repetitive, merely restating the introduction without adding a final thought or synthesis.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each with a central theme. Cohesive devices such as 'The primary benefit', 'Moreover', 'Another significant benefit', and 'To conclude' are used to guide the reader. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical, and the flow between sentences could be smoother. For instance, the transition between the general statement about stress and the specific example of swimming is a bit abrupt. Paragraphing is used appropriately, and there is a clear progression of ideas from the introduction to the conclusion, though the internal structure of the body paragraphs could be more sophisticated.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'paramount importance', 'recreational activity', and 'compelling evidence'. However, there are several spelling errors ('swiming', 'swin', 'wonderfull', 'hobbie') and some awkward collocations ('society members' instead of 'people' or 'individuals'). While the vocabulary is sufficient to convey your meaning clearly, the lack of precision and the recurring spelling mistakes prevent a higher score. To improve, focus on proofreading for common spelling errors and try to incorporate more sophisticated synonyms to avoid repeating words like 'hobby' and 'career' too frequently.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader. For example, 'no matter whether individual is' (missing article), 'a act that a individual' (incorrect article usage), and 'Virat Kohli, for instance, have a hobby' (subject-verb agreement error). Punctuation is generally functional, but there are some run-on sentences and missing commas. The errors do not impede communication, but they are frequent enough to limit the score. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and article usage will significantly improve your accuracy.
