It is vital for all age group people to have some sort of hobby. According to my point of view, I am agree with the statement. Not only having a hobby can improve skills but also it helps to build a new connections.
Having a good hobby can help people to grow their personal skills. In other words, doing something that you like can help you build your self-confidence better. Moreover, it improves your ability to do things right and in proper manner. For example, playing video game can helps people to increase brain productivity and creativity. Also, it makes you better at time management as game tasks are challenging and they have to be done in certain time limit.
Furthermore, a hobby helps you to make new contacts. This is because you meet different personalities through similar hobbies. As a result, people end up sharing same interest and end up meeting new people. A good example of this can be seen in music line. If you are good at playing piano and you go to local music festival where you can meet different people with various tastes in music. Which ultimately leads to building new contacts. In addition to this, you can get chance to show your performance in local bands through your connections and make some earing out of those performance.
In conclusion, I am strongly agree for kids, youth, working professionals and retired citizen to have a hobby as it improves personal ability to do things and build up new contacts which can make people's way to new employment opportunity.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, clearly stating an opinion in the introduction and maintaining it throughout. The ideas regarding personal skill development and social networking are relevant and supported with examples, such as the benefits of video games for productivity and the social aspect of music festivals. While the development is generally clear, some points, such as the link between hobbies and employment opportunities, are mentioned briefly in the conclusion without being fully explored in the body paragraphs. Overall, the response is well-focused and meets the requirements of the task effectively.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'Furthermore', and 'As a result' are used to link ideas, although some transitions feel slightly mechanical. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct ideas. However, there are minor issues with referencing and sentence-level flow, such as the sentence fragment 'Which ultimately leads to building new contacts.' Despite these minor lapses, the progression of ideas is clear and easy to follow throughout the response.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task. The student uses some topic-specific terms like 'time management', 'productivity', and 'employment opportunity'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'music line' instead of 'music industry' and 'make some earing' instead of 'earn some money'. The range is sufficient to convey meaning clearly, but it lacks the precision and flexibility required for a higher band score. The repetition of basic phrases like 'different people' and 'new contacts' also limits the lexical variety.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The student uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'playing video game can helps', 'I am agree') and article usage. Some sentences are awkwardly phrased or incomplete, such as 'I am strongly agree for kids... to have a hobby'. Despite these errors, the student demonstrates an attempt at complex structures, and the mistakes do not significantly impede communication. More attention to basic grammar rules and sentence construction would improve the score.
