It is important for children, young adults, working people and the retired to have at least one hobby.
What's your opinion about this?

Student answer (Band 6.0)
Having at least one hobby is essential for everyone, regardless of age.I completlely agree with this statement.A hobby is not just a way to pass time,it plays a crucial role in mental health,personal develpoment,and social connection at every stage of life.
Firstly,hobbies are vital for mental well-being and stress relif.For children like dwawing or collecting stamps,swimming,playing sports games at outdoor provide a break from acadamic pressure and develpos creativity also improve physical fitness.For young adults and working people,who face intense pressure from studies and careers,a hobby acts an escape.For example,a software engineer who play guitar or any musical instrument for 30 minutes after work can disconnect from screen and reduce anxiety and stress.Similarly,for retied person,who may feel a loss of purpose of life after leaving work ,gardening or reading,bird watiching,any social charity work to disable people comunity which giving them a daily rutine and a sense of achivement.Without a hobby,life can become monotonous and stressful.
Secondly,hobbies help us to learn skills that school or work cant teach us.children who join cricket club learn about teamwork,discipline,time management and learn about how to handle wining and losing ehich are important lesson for life.Young adult who pursue photography learn patient and attention to detail.Even for working adult,hobbies can lead to professional growth.for example one of my friend who had hobby to play cricket he play well although due to his passion he choose him careear as cricketer and he became national team member and play cricket at international level on behalf of nation.For older people,learning a new hobby like chess keep the brain active has been shown to delay in memoryloss.therefore,hobbies contribute to lifelong learing.
some people argue that working people are too busy for hobbies and children shood only focus on studies.however ,this view is short-sighted.Without a hobby,productivity actually decrease.In conclusion,having a hobby is not luxury but necessity.it reduse stress,teaches valuable skills and build social connection for children,student,worker,and retiees alike.
