It is important for children, young adults, working people and the retired to have at least one hobby.

What's your opinion about this?

Student answer (Band 6.0)

I believe It is crucial for people of all ages to have atleast one hobby. Although hobbies can vary according to the persons's age, preferences and responsibilities, hobbies can provide relaxation, improve mental well-being and help develop useful skills.

For young people, hobbies such as painting, playing sports and music, develops discipline and creativity.

Young aduts can also benefit from hobbies, because they have to face difficulties related to academics and career prospects, hobbies such as travelling, photography, can give them a break from stress and helps them to relax and rejuvinate to face the challenges effeciently. However, for working people, hobbies can help them to balance their professional and personal life effectively. For retired people, hobbies are valuable, as it allows them to engage in activities rather than sitting idle, which keeps them mentally and physically active and provides opportunity to socialise with others. For example, elder people who are always engaged in physical activities or socialise with other people, have less tendency to develop cognitive problems related to Isolation and loneliness.

In my experience,whenever I have leisure time, I enjoy reading books and listening to music. My studies and professional responsibilities can be sometimes demanding, spending even a small amount of time on these activities helps me to relax and feel fresh. I have noticed that reading improves my concentration and vocabulary, which is useful for my studies.

To conclude, I believe that everyone should have atleast one hobby, because it makes life more enjoyable and balanced, regardless of age,responsibilities and occupation.
