Nowadays, it is best decision that everyone should develop one hobby such as, reading, drawing or movie watching etc it is depend on their choice. Moreover, this hobby will help them to get some more time for themselves in this busy routines. I would like to explain my points in the ensuing paragraphs.

To begin with, the foremost reason for everyone having a at least one hobby is necessary because for students and working people not only education and work is important part of their life but having a leisure and me-time also plays a crucial role to live a life. The human body has a biological clock and it works in pattern of work and rest. Person should spent their time equally on both work and rest. For example, one research shows the data that people who enjoy their time to develop their selves with new interesting things perform 90% better in their study or work related task.

The retired people have hobby like knitting, gardening and socialize with each other, which will keep them active, creative and mobilize. The working people have to take a short brake from their busy lifestyles and spend some times near to mountains, beaches and country sides, which allow them to feel calm and relax. The teenagers should learn lots of activity to enjoy their time which will help them to grow better. For instance, in scientific study it is evidence that human being interest is directly related to their performance at any stage of life.

To sum up, everyone should develop their own hobbies and try to get a time for that so they can improve their productivity, feel motivated and energetic for their tasks.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing the importance of hobbies for different age groups, including children, young adults, working people, and the retired. The student takes a clear position agreeing with the statement and supports it with general ideas and examples, such as mentioning that working people need breaks to feel calm. However, the ideas are somewhat repetitive and lack deep extension, often stating generalities rather than fully developing specific examples. For instance, the reference to 'one research shows the data' is vague and under-developed. This places the performance firmly at Band 6, where all parts are addressed, but some areas feel underdeveloped.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The essay presents a coherent overall arrangement with a clear introduction, body paragraphs categorised by age groups, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is utilised appropriately to separate main ideas. However, cohesion at the sentence level is occasionally mechanical or faulty. Phrases such as 'To begin with', 'Moreover', and 'To sum up' are used to signal transitions, but within paragraphs, referencing is sometimes unclear, such as 'which will keep them active, creative and mobilize' where pronoun referencing and parallelism falter. Additionally, punctuation errors occasionally disrupt the flow, leading to a Band 6 classification for Coherence and Cohesion.

Lexical Resource: Band 6.0

The student displays an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully incorporating topic-related words such as 'leisure', 'me-time', 'productivity', and 'lifestyles'. There are attempts to use less common vocabulary, but these are sometimes marred by word-choice and collocation errors, such as 'best decision that everyone should develop one hobby' instead of 'a good decision', 'movie watching', and 'socialize with each other' used as an adjective alongside 'active' and 'creative'. Spelling is generally accurate, but awkward phrasing restricts the score to a Band 5.5, which rounds to a Band 6 based on overall adequacy.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some variety in structure. However, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the response, including subject-verb agreement issues ('everybody having a at least one hobby is necessary', 'Person should spent'), missing articles ('is at least one hobby'), and incorrect word forms ('mobilize' instead of 'mobilised', 'brake' instead of 'break'). While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to prevent the essay from reaching Band 6 consistently, placing it at a Band 5.5.
