Student answer (Band 6.0)
In recent years, everyone is having hectic schedule. In my opinion to maintain work life balance it is crucial for everyone to have at least one hobby. In the upcoming eassay I will explain why it is improtant to have atleast on hobby.
To begin with, having hobbies will increase the employee productivity and concentration level. Working 24x7 would exhausts employee and lower their energy level. On the other side, doing something that interset them will uplift their mood and motivate them to work more. As a result, company will get more revenue.
Similarly, knowing hobbies will help to initiate communication. If strangers have common interset they could start their conversation on their hobbies and become friends. For instance, I love placing scoar and on last weekend I went to Roagers stadium to watch the match. Over their I met with few strangers and now we are friends.
Talking about young adults, it would help them to keep engage and physcially fit. Doing physical activity, keep your body moving would help to reduce the obesity promble. Likewise, some like dancing and singing and they can continue their career. Nothing is special then making your hobbies to your career. By doing this way individual will find the mental peace and they work with full enthusiasm.
Taking above points into consideration, I believe that having hobbies positively motivates all age groups to work with full energy and gives break from their busy schedule. I would recommend that every one should learn something new and fulfil their target.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task by exploring the importance of hobbies across various life stages, including working people and young adults. Your position is clear throughout the essay, and you present relevant ideas, such as improved productivity for employees and physical fitness for young adults. However, some ideas lack full extension and are slightly under-developed; for example, the connection between hobbies and company revenue is stated rather than supported with deep explanation. Similarly, the example about going to 'Roagers stadium' is very brief. Overall, the content is relevant, meets the task prompt well, and covers different groups mentioned in the prompt, placing it comfortably at Band 6.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay has a coherent overall arrangement with a clear attempt at a logical progression of ideas. Paragraphing is utilised to separate distinct concepts, such as employee productivity, social connections, and young adults. However, cohesion is sometimes faulty or mechanical. Transition phrases like 'On the other side' are slightly unnatural, and referencing is occasionally unclear, such as 'doing physical activity, keep your body moving would help' where the linkage between clauses is awkward. Paragraphs could also benefit from smoother introductory and concluding transitions to ensure a more seamless flow throughout the entire text. These structural and cohesive limitations correspond to a Band 6 score.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting less-common expressions like 'hectic schedule', 'work life balance', and 'enthusiasm'. However, there are noticeable spelling and word-choice errors that occur throughout the response, such as 'eassay', 'improtant', 'atleast', 'on' instead of 'one', 'interset', 'exhausts' (instead of exhaust), 'scoar' (instead of soccer/score), 'Over their' (instead of Over there), and 'promble' (instead of problem). While these errors do not completely impede communication, their frequency prevents you from achieving a higher band score. The lexical control aligns with a Band 5.5 performance.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some variety in structure with sentences like 'Working 24x7 would exhausts employee and lower their energy level.' However, there are frequent grammatical and punctuation errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('everyone is having', 'employee... exhausts'), tense inconsistencies, and awkward phrasing ('Nothing is special then making your hobbies to your career'). Despite these errors, the meaning is generally recoverable and communication is rarely severely impeded. This mix of structures and error frequency places your grammatical performance at Band 5.5.
