I reckon hobby is helpful to give them direction and release stress when they face challenging situations. I completely agree with the above mentioned assertion. This essay will examine the appropriate reasons behind my viewpoint.
One of the major reasons is career opportunities. People often get chances to convert their hobbies in professional careers. Hence, it will aid them to aquire everything such as reputation, luxurious lifestyle, recognisation, social status and financial stability. For instance, " several countries has find talented people like film starts, cricketers, ethletes and singers and now they are persuing their hobbies as passion, and earn a hefty amount".
Other supporting reason is a physical and mental well-being. Numerous people choose cricket as their hobby to overcome anxiety, and it eventually helps them to become fit. Children can have hobby of playing in the play grounds with their friends , young adults and working people should have hobby to break the monotoneous routine and to do something interested. Also, retired individuals become less depressed and reduced prone to diseases provided they opt one hobby to use their spare time.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The student addresses all parts of the task by expressing a clear position regarding the importance of hobbies for people across all age groups. Ideas are extended and supported, such as discussing career opportunities and physical and mental well-being. However, there is a tendency to over-generalise and some supporting points lack depth. For instance, the example provided about international individuals and careers contains awkward phrasing and generalisations. Nevertheless, the main position is maintained throughout the response, and the arguments presented are directly relevant to the prompt, aligning well with the Band 6 descriptors.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a coherent overall arrangement with a clear introduction and conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate different supporting points, such as career opportunities versus health benefits. However, cohesion is sometimes faulty or mechanical. For example, transitional phrases like 'One of the major reasons is...' and 'Other supporting reason is...' are slightly formulaic. Additionally, referencing and linking within paragraphs occasionally feel abrupt, preventing a completely smooth progression of ideas. This places the performance firmly at the Band 6 level for Coherence and Cohesion.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
The student demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting less common items such as 'financial stability,' 'monotonous routine,' and 'high-paced environment.' However, there are noticeable spelling and word-choice errors, such as 'aquire' instead of 'acquire', 'recognisation' instead of 'recognition', 'ethletes' instead of 'athletes', and 'persuing' instead of 'pursuing'. Furthermore, collocations are sometimes unnatural, as seen in 'reduced prone to diseases' instead of 'less prone to diseases.' These inaccuracies do not impede overall communication, reflecting a typical Band 6 lexical performance.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
The essay displays a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some attempt at variety. However, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. In the opening sentence, the construction 'everyone to should have' contains a redundant auxiliary verb. Other errors include subject-verb agreement issues, such as 'several countries has find', incorrect prepositions, and awkward phrasing like 'opt one hobby to use their spare time'. While these errors do not severely impede communication, they persist across the text, making Band 6 the most accurate descriptor for grammatical range and accuracy.
