It is often considered that it is crucial to have at least one hobby for all ages people. I believe that a hobby plays a significant role in shaping individuals behaviour and it maintains a bridge between work-life balance.

From my perspective, hobbies are the phenomenon which people can adapt naturally according to the interests and likeness. It directly affects the personality, as a hobby provides calmness and positive attitude to the personality. A hobby is something which individual may enjoy purely. For instance, after a hectic day when adult will come home and enjoys his hobby, it gives him relax after a tough routine. Additionally, it facilitate all age people such as: we can use a hobby as a reinforcer for a child or an elderly person take a hobby as an advantage or use it to reduce loneliness after retirement period.

Hence, a hobby is not only an activity, for me it is a medicine for todays' people.

I widely observed that a hobby sometimes encourages teenager to built better future. In the modern globalization, most adolescents do content creating as a part of their hobbies. They passionaly rely on this and as the time goes they select their career as a content creator. Many of them start their blogs in a fun, now it becomes a source of income for them.

In todays competitive era where companies want overtime from their staff, hobbies act as a powerful catalyst since it helps working professional to take some sort of time for theirselves. A hobby makes a bridge between their professional and personal life.

To sum up, a hobby must be adopted by all for the sake of themselves. It has a great significant on all because it provides a mental well-being, helps to overcome loneliness and sometimes assists individual to built better future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

The response addresses all parts of the prompt by discussing why hobbies are important for different age groups, including young adults, working people, and retirees, and provides a clear personal opinion. The position is maintained throughout the essay. Ideas are extended and supported with relevant examples, such as mentioning content creation for teenagers and stress relief for working professionals. While some points are slightly generalized, the overall development satisfies the requirements for a Band 6.5 to 7.0. The arguments are relevant and well-supported, demonstrating a good understanding of the prompt's requirements across the various life stages mentioned.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The essay displays a clear overall progression and logical organization. Ideas are grouped into distinct paragraphs, starting with an introduction, moving through body paragraphs addressing different groups and aspects, and concluding with a summary. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'Additionally', 'Hence', and 'To sum up', although some transitions feel slightly mechanical or repetitive ('a hobby is...'). Referencing is mostly clear, though occasional awkward phrasing creates minor bumps in flow. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate ideas about different age groups and benefits, resulting in a solid performance that fits the Band 6.5 to 7.0 descriptors well.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

The student demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary suitable for the task, attempting less common items such as 'phenomenon', 'reinforcer', 'catalyst', and 'globalization'. However, there are notable collocation and word choice inaccuracies, such as 'all ages people', 'likeness' instead of 'likings', 'gives him relax', and 'passionaly rely'. Spelling errors like 'todays'' and 'built' (instead of 'build') also occur. Despite these slips, the vocabulary is sufficient to convey the intended meaning without impeding communication, placing the response firmly in the Band 6.0 category.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating attempts at varied structures ('In todays competitive era where companies want overtime...'). However, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including article omissions, subject-verb agreement issues ('teenager to built'), and preposition errors ('take some sort of time for theirselves'). Punctuation is generally acceptable, but grammatical inaccuracies occur with enough frequency to prevent the essay from reaching higher band levels. Although these errors rarely impede overall communication, they reflect a limited control over complex grammar structures.
