Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is a great way to express your feeling via some art and it is trending nowadays in many nations. Some people think that having a hobby is an essential part of life no matter how old you are. I believe that every person should have at least one hobby, this enhances their interest and skills.
To begin with, many young adults and children should develop at least one hobby. This improves their knowledge about particular thing and they can develop many skills such as problem-solving, creativeness, and learn something from their hobby. By this way they always try to achieve best performance in their art this can improves their patience level and hard work. However, some children who doest not have hobby they become lethargic and inactive in their life which leads to many helath issues. For instance, many children have b=hobby playinh sports so, they learn team work as well as problem-solving skills. Additionally, some youngesters who does not involve in any hobbies, they become more aggresive and they feel that they do not have any talent which might cause depression. Consequency, this can demotivate them and reduces their interest in life.
Another reason why it is important for working people and the retires that is relaxation and sense of achievement. Although people who are working all day they want to relax after their busy days so, they find doing art activity can make them relaxed. On other side, retires people who does not have much to do in their daily routine, they often find something as their hobby such as playing cards, shopping, travelling, etc. which makes them happy and healthy in their life. To have healthy life it is crucial to have some hobby so, you have goals to work and to try their best to achieve which makes them happy and happy lifestyle is the key for healthy life. For example, most retired people have hobbies to do some volunteer work for society and to keep their life busy though they do not feel lonely. As a result, having hobbies is beneficial for all age groups.
In conclusion, I believe that having one hobby can create significant benefits in a person. Young adults and children can develop different skills at early age which is beneficial for future, however working individuals feel relax after heavy workload and retired people does not feel lonely. I believe that having at least one hobby make significant changes in person's life which is important to achieve something for happiness.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0
Your position is clear from the introduction—“every person should have at least one hobby”—and remains consistent in the conclusion. You address the age groups in the prompt and give relevant reasons, including skill development for children and relaxation or companionship for adults and retirees. Examples such as team sports and volunteering help support the discussion. The main limitation is that some claims are broad or not fully explained: for instance, the link between having no hobby and becoming aggressive or depressed is asserted rather than demonstrated. The point about working people is also less developed than the discussion of children and retirees. Explaining these effects more carefully would make the support more convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs organised around different age groups, and a conclusion. The progression from children and young adults to working people and retirees is easy to follow, and signposts such as “To begin with,” “Another reason,” and “In conclusion” help orient the reader. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical, with repeated use of “so,” “which,” and “as a result.” Some links between ideas are unclear, particularly in the long sentence beginning “To have healthy life,” where the relationship between goals, achievement, and happiness becomes difficult to track. Use clearer sentence boundaries and vary linking methods, including pronouns that refer unambiguously to the people or ideas discussed.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to discuss hobbies and their effects, including “problem-solving,” “team work,” “relaxation,” “sense of achievement,” and “volunteer work.” This gives the response a relevant range, but word choice and spelling errors are noticeable and sometimes make the reader pause. Examples include “creativeness,” “lethargic,” “retirees people,” and misspellings such as “helath,” “aggresive,” and “Consequency.” Some phrases are also unnatural, including “achieve best performance in their art” and “happy lifestyle is the key for healthy life.” Aim for accurate collocations and check spelling carefully; more natural phrasing will make your ideas clearer and more precise.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt a mixture of simple and complex sentences, using clauses with “although,” “which,” and “who,” as well as examples and reasons. However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries recur. For example, “this can improves” should use the base verb after “can,” while “retired people does not feel lonely” has a subject–verb agreement error. The opening sentence of the second body paragraph also lacks a clear grammatical structure. Several sentences join multiple ideas with commas, making their relationships harder to follow. Practise building accurate shorter sentences first, then combine them with subordinate clauses and check each subject–verb pairing.
