It is very important for children, young adults, working people and the retired ones to have at least one hobby. This not only ensures motivation but also brings more happiness in everyones's life.

People have different hobbies. Some have a desire to play an indoor or outdoor sports in their freetime while others like to listen or sing music. Some People also like to dance after coming back from work while others like to walk or jog when they have no work. All these activites are as per individual's likings or dislikings but it has to be conducted on daily basis irrespective of age groups. In today's world it is very important to stay active and vigilant. Practising the activities like this ensures a positive mindset which is very important in taking the crucial decisions of our life, getting assignments done on right time, getting productive outcomes in every step of life and so on.

It is important to inculcate good hobbies in children since they are at the beginning stages of their life. Moreover, it will create a better personality when they start their career. Young Adults in college need to follow their hobbies to stay at the top of there mental health. Working People need to get sometime out from their busy schedule and follow their hobbies to get more positive results in their professional life. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear from the opening and conclusion: you believe everyone should have a hobby. You address the age groups in the prompt and give relevant reasons, including children’s development, young adults’ mental health, workers’ wellbeing and retirees’ fitness. However, these points are mostly asserted rather than explained; for instance, you say hobbies help workers achieve “more positive results” but do not show how. The example of Mukesh Ambani attending yoga classes is relevant, though its connection to the wider argument could be made clearer. Develop fewer points in more depth, explaining the benefits and adding a specific example or consequence for each. The response meets the required length; 10 words copied from the task prompt were not counted.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The essay has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, paragraphs describing hobbies and their benefits, an age-group discussion, an example, and a conclusion. This makes the main argument easy to follow. Some links between ideas are less smooth, however. The second paragraph moves from types of hobbies to daily activity and then to decision-making and productivity, without clearly showing how each point connects. The repeated use of “while others” and “It is important” also makes the progression somewhat mechanical. The final example is isolated in a short paragraph rather than being integrated into the discussion of working people. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each example directly to the claim it supports; vary linking expressions and avoid repeating the same sentence openings.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use a range of relevant vocabulary, including “positive mindset,” “crucial decisions,” “professional life” and “physical fitness,” which helps communicate the topic. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “inculcate good hobbies.” However, several word choices and collocations are unnatural or imprecise: “play an indoor or outdoor sports,” “conducted on daily basis,” and “stay at the top of there mental health.” Spelling and form errors such as “activites,” “everyones's” and “sometime” also reduce accuracy. Aim for natural combinations and check spelling carefully. For example, say “take up a hobby,” “practise it regularly,” and “maintain good mental health” rather than translating phrases directly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You use both simple statements and longer sentences with clauses, as in “This not only ensures motivation but also brings more happiness…” and the sentence beginning “Practising the activities like this ensures…”. The overall meaning remains clear, but some grammatical errors occur in agreement, articles, plurals and sentence construction. For example, “play an indoor or outdoor sports” has a mismatch between the article and plural noun, while “it has to be conducted” does not agree clearly with the plural “activities.” In “Young Adults in college need to follow their hobbies to stay at the top of there mental health,” the pronoun form is incorrect. Review subject–verb agreement, singular and plural forms, and article use, and edit long sentences to ensure each clause is grammatically complete.
