It is undeniable that in this competitive world, people should manage their preferences and work life. Considering this, it is justified that every person should engage themeselve to enjoy some hobbies, which offer immense benefits to the individuals. According to me, the hobbies play crucial role in individuals life. Hence, all generations should have at least one hobby.
To initiate with, children are very creative and during that age they tend to learn new activities and things. I believe that children should have atleast one hobby to improve their skills and abilities. They come to know about innate talent by involving in hobbies. To exemplify, if children tend to enjoy swimming as a hobby, they learn teamwork, competitions and how to del with problems. Similarly, hobbies seem also effective for adults. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You state a clear opinion that “all generations should have at least one hobby,” and the points about children developing skills and adults reducing stress are relevant to the question. However, the response addresses the task only partially: it gives little explanation or supporting detail, and it does not discuss working people and retired people separately. The example of swimming mentions teamwork and problem-solving, but these links are not explained; the sports example is left unfinished after “However,”. The response also stops before presenting a conclusion. The required minimum of 250 words is not met, which limits how fully you can develop your reasons. To strengthen the response, explain benefits for each age group, add specific examples, and complete the argument with a concluding statement.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is some organisation: an opening paragraph gives your position, followed by a paragraph that begins with children and then moves to adults. Linking expressions such as “To initiate with,” “Similarly,” and “For example” show an attempt to guide the reader. However, the overall progression is incomplete because the response ends abruptly at “However,” and has no conclusion. The paragraph also shifts between age groups without clearly separating or connecting the points, while the opening notes are not integrated into the essay. Some transitions feel mechanical rather than showing the precise relationship between ideas. Use a separate paragraph for each main group or benefit, connect examples directly to the claim they support, and finish with a summary of your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “competitive,” “innate talent,” “stress buster,” and “confidence.” These choices show an attempt to express more than basic ideas. However, several phrases are inaccurate or awkward, such as “manage their preferences and work life,” “engage themeselve,” and “adapt it as a career aopportunities.” Spelling errors, including “atleast,” “del,” and “aopportunities,” also reduce the clarity and control of the vocabulary. Some wording is repetitive, particularly the repeated use of “hobby” and “hobbies.” Aim for accurate collocations and check spelling carefully; for example, explain that hobbies can “help people develop skills” or “provide a way to relieve stress.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a relative clause in “hobbies, which offer immense benefits” and a conditional example beginning “if children tend to enjoy swimming.” Meaning is generally understandable, but errors in sentence structure and agreement are noticeable. For instance, “the hobbies play crucial role” needs an article, and “It not only work … but also help” has subject–verb agreement problems. “They come to know about innate talent” also lacks clear number and article control. The final “However,” leaves a sentence unfinished, and punctuation around the opening notes is not controlled. Practise checking each sentence for a clear subject and verb, correct agreement, and complete punctuation, while retaining your attempts at complex structures.
