Student answer (Band 6.0)
Life is a adventourous path. It becomes boring and dull when you have same routine and same tasks. It is stated that people of all ages whether they are children, adults, employed or retired, all shoud have atleast a single hobby. I completely agree with the above statement.A person doesnot loose happiness in its life when they follow their hobbies. I will putforth some points in forthcoming paragraphs to support my opinion.
To begin with, mostly all individuals work nowadays and people often lack their interest in life when they perform same routine.Additionally, human life become less monotonous if people chase their desire activities. Further, children spend 7-8 hours at school and when they reach home they are fully tired. It is important for parents to take them to parks or recreational centres where they can enjoy their favourite kind of activities.
Probing further, old age or retired people becomes exhausting by sitting at home as they have nothing to do.Hence,if they have a hobby like going to gym for walks, swimming center or library they will stay active and feel refresh. Furthermore, young people are full of energy but they never knew where to use it so having a good hobby helps them shape their future better. They can master themselves in dance, football, soccer, badminton, skydiving anything that interests them.
To recapitulate, having a hobby sparks a interset in an indiviual to keep going in life. However, a person never becomes irritating and uniteresting if he or she give valuable time to their hobbies and enjoy living with it.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction: “I completely agree,” and the response stays focused on why hobbies benefit different age groups. You address children, retired people and young people, with relevant examples such as parks, swimming and sport. This covers the task, but the groups and reasons are not developed equally: working people are mentioned in the opening and then receive little specific discussion, while several examples are listed without explaining how a hobby helps. The conclusion repeats the general benefit rather than drawing together the main reasons. To strengthen the response, explain the effects of hobbies in more detail and give working adults a developed example, such as how a regular activity can relieve work-related stress.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Its progression from children to older people and then young people is understandable, and signposts such as “To begin with,” “Furthermore” and “To recapitulate” help readers follow the argument. This meets the lower-band expectation of coherent organisation and shows some of the flexibility associated with stronger cohesion. However, transitions can feel mechanical, and some links between ideas are unclear. For example, the move from retired people to young people within the same paragraph is abrupt, while “Probing further” does not clearly signal the next point. Use more precise links that show cause, contrast or addition, and consider giving each age group a clearer place in the argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a reasonable range of topic-related vocabulary, including “monotonous,” “recreational centres,” “active” and “shape their future.” These choices help communicate the benefits of hobbies, and the meaning is generally understandable. However, inaccurate word choice, collocation and spelling are noticeable and sometimes make the writing less natural: “a adventurous path,” “chase their desire activities,” “feel refresh” and “sparks a interset” are examples. Some expressions also repeat broad ideas such as “hobby” and “activities” without adding precision. Build accuracy by learning common word partnerships and checking spelling and word forms; for instance, use “pursue activities they enjoy” and “feel refreshed.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a conditional structure in “if they have a hobby … they will stay active” and a relative clause in “activities where they can enjoy.” The main ideas remain understandable, but some grammatical errors occur across the response. Examples include article use in “Life is a adventurous path,” subject–verb agreement in “human life become” and “old age or retired people becomes,” and verb forms in “they never knew where to use it.” There are also sentence-boundary and punctuation problems, such as missing spaces after full stops. Review articles, agreement and tense consistency, then proofread punctuation. More consistently accurate complex sentences would make your argument easier to read.
