In my opinion, having at least one hobby is important for everybody. Hobby provide several benefits, such as reducing stress, make you creative, improve physical and mental health.

First and foremost, hobbies are really important for young age individuals. Young adults can find their interests and talents. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0

Your position is clear from the opening—“having at least one hobby is important for everybody”—and remains consistent in the conclusion. You address children and young adults, working people, and retired people, giving relevant reasons and examples such as crafts, sports, gardening, and social groups. These examples support the central view, and the response covers the task well. Some points, however, are asserted rather than fully explained: for instance, the benefits of hobbies for working people are mainly described as relaxation and work-life balance, without showing in detail how a particular hobby achieves this. Developing a few examples more specifically, rather than listing several activities, would make the support more convincing and precise.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs on different age groups, and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “First and foremost,” “Secondly,” “Finally,” and “In conclusion” make the progression easy to follow. This logical organisation is a strength. However, some linking is mechanical, and the paragraph about young people repeats “child” and “young adults” without always making the references smooth. The sentence beginning “For example, if child enjoy making craft” is also a fragment, which interrupts the flow between the example and its explanation. Use a wider range of natural transitions and connect examples to their consequences in complete sentences to make cohesion more flexible.

Lexical Resource: Band 6.0

You use an adequate range of vocabulary for the topic, including “work-life balance,” “discipline,” “concentration,” “socially connected,” and “personal growth.” These choices help communicate the benefits of hobbies, and the meaning is generally clear. There are also some inaccurate word forms and collocations, such as “make you creative,” “purpose of life,” and “enjoy activity”; these reduce naturalness even though they do not prevent understanding. Several activity lists also rely on familiar, general vocabulary. Aim for more precise phrasing—for example, describe hobbies as “fostering creativity” or “providing a sense of purpose”—and check whether nouns and verbs combine naturally in English.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and more developed sentence forms, including conditional phrasing (“if child participate in sports”) and clauses explaining benefits. The overall meaning is usually understandable, but errors in agreement, articles, plurals, and sentence construction remain noticeable. Examples include “Hobby provide,” “Having a hobbies allow,” and “if child enjoy”; these need singular/plural agreement and appropriate articles. “For example, if child enjoy making craft, such as…” is not a complete sentence, while “hobbies also helps” has an agreement error. Capitalisation after “Apart from that” and at the start of the final sentence also needs attention. Practise checking each sentence for a clear subject and verb, then review articles and agreement.
