Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

Your position is clear in the conclusion: “every one should have hobby,” and you give relevant reasons, including stress relief, enjoyment, learning, and staying active after retirement. The examples of your grandfather attending music classes and your friend creating YouTube content help connect the topic to real experience. However, the discussion is uneven: the benefits for retired people and working adults receive some explanation, while the opening reference to children and young adults is not developed in comparable detail. Several claims, such as hobbies making the brain work “perfectly,” are asserted rather than explained. Develop each age group with a specific benefit and clarify how your examples support your opinion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is some organisation: the response moves from a general introduction to examples and benefits, then gives a concluding opinion. Paragraph breaks also help separate parts of the discussion. However, the progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow, and several ideas are joined without clear relationships. For example, the paragraph about adults shifts from family responsibilities to stress, research, and a YouTube example without explaining the links. Connectors such as “for that” and “also” are repeated or used imprecisely, while “however” does not always introduce a clear contrast. Use one main idea per paragraph, order supporting details logically, and make references such as “they” or “that” unmistakable.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “retirement,” “personal interest,” “activities,” “stress,” and “cultural events.” These choices show that you can discuss hobbies and their benefits, and examples such as learning a musical instrument add useful specificity. However, the range is limited and many spelling errors or inaccurate word choices make parts of the response difficult to understand, including “hoppy,” “happly,” “releife,” and “Technolygysis.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “make them busy” and “make your life full joy.” Check spelling carefully and learn common collocations for discussing wellbeing, leisure, and personal development; this will make your meaning clearer and more precise.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use mostly simple statements and make some attempts to connect clauses, for example, “Although nowadays most of the adults people working very hard for there family.” However, many sentences contain errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction, which sometimes make the intended meaning hard to follow. Examples include “Its is very important to every one have,” “some elderly people are spend time,” and “he attendening the class.” Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also inconsistent, as in “hobby. They can releife from stress.happy make you happy.” Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses with correct verb forms. Proofread for complete sentences, subject–verb agreement, and punctuation.
