People should have at least one hobby , it helps them to be more creative and a way out of boredom. It is really important for people of all age to have a hobby as it have many advantage like entertainment, peace of mind, bringing positivity and also a way to manage stress.

To begin with hobbies are activity that a person find interest in. When a person in indulge in this activity it helps them to be more active an be more engaging in a sense it benefits in providing different kind of health benefit. When adults or children take part in this activity after a long day of work or school, it helps them to unwind and release stress. It also act as a way to reduce stress. Additionally, playing sports with friends and family help increase the bond and emotional ties specially with children. For instance, in many schools in India there are dedicated sports day annually in which the schools encourage the students to partake in different kind of sports of their liking to increase their confidence as well as they can enhance more of their skills.

More over enjoyable activity can help in monetary gains , by rewarding employment opportunity in that field. As it will help people from burn out by doing repetitive task, helps them to take a break from deadlines and a person can relax and provide productive outcome without any pressure. For example, someone who enjoys cooking may turn this hobby into a successful career as a professional chef.

So, in my opinion everyone should have at least one hobby that they can pursue in their free time. Hobbies provide an escape from everyday pressures, help maintain relationships with friends and family, and contribute to better mental and physical well-being.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

Your position is clear from the opening: you agree that people of all ages should have a hobby, and the conclusion restates this view. You give relevant reasons, including stress relief, stronger family relationships, confidence, and possible career opportunities. The examples of school sports days in India and a cooking hobby becoming a chef’s career help make the discussion concrete. However, some points are more fully explained than others: the claim that hobbies improve health is broad, and the monetary-benefit point could be clarified because a hobby need not lead to employment. To strengthen the response further, explain how each reason supports your opinion and develop the less clear claims with specific detail.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting benefits, and a concluding opinion. Sequencing phrases such as “To begin with,” “Additionally,” and “For example” help readers follow the discussion, and the final paragraph effectively gathers the main benefits. Some connections are less smooth or precise, however. The second body paragraph moves from career opportunities to avoiding burnout and deadlines without clearly showing how these ideas relate. There is also repetition between “release stress” and “reduce stress,” while “More over” is an awkward transition into the next point. Group related benefits more deliberately and use linking expressions to show the exact relationship between each claim and example.

Lexical Resource: Band 6.0

You use an adequate range of vocabulary to discuss the topic, including “peace of mind,” “emotional ties,” “burn out,” and “productive outcome.” These choices communicate the main ideas, and the examples show an attempt to use topic-related language. At times, however, word choice and collocation are imprecise or repetitive: “different kind of health benefit,” “rewarding employment opportunity,” and “enhance more of their skills” sound unnatural or unclear. “Activity” and “stress” are also repeated several times. Aim for more precise combinations and vary repeated terms; for example, describe hobbies as “leisure pursuits” and say they can “develop practical skills.” Check spelling and spacing in expressions such as “Moreover” and “burnout” to improve overall control.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including clauses beginning with “When” and “As,” and most of the message remains understandable. Some grammatical errors nevertheless occur across the response. Examples include “people of all age” instead of a plural form, “it have many advantage,” and “hobbies are activity,” where agreement and plural forms are not controlled. The sentence “When a person in indulge” has an incorrect verb construction, and “playing sports … help increase” needs clearer subject–verb agreement. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly around commas and spaces. Review agreement, articles, and verb forms, then proofread each sentence; this will make your varied structures more accurate and easier to read.
