i am glad to hear about your decision in studying abroad. that is an excellent decision and iwant to assure you that you willnot regret yor action.

I am also an hold student of Toronto university Canada, I lived and study in toronto for more than two years and i can boldly tell you that i enjoyed my stay throughout the course of my study. It was really a great experience for me, ranging from conducive enviroment of the school, to the friendly and accommodating student. In addition, the lecturer are well experienced and intelligent.

However, studying in Canada as thought me alot. the weather was extremely cold compare to our country, they have a wide range of tourist attractions. And their cultural diversity was great.

This university really helped me to achieve a good experience. you can apply for work in diiferent country and you will be employed. It also helped me to get more scores for my permanent resident application.

I wish you success as you proceed in your academic journey. I hope you enjoy your stay. best wishes.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response successfully covers all the required bullet points of the task. You stated where you studied by mentioning 'Toronto university Canada' and living in Toronto for more than two years. You also described what you learnt about the country, mentioning the extremely cold weather, tourist attractions, and cultural diversity. Furthermore, you explained why the year abroad was helpful for your studies by noting how it helped you achieve a good experience, improve employment prospects, and gain points for a permanent residence application. The tone is mostly appropriate for an informal letter to a friend's sister, though the salutation 'Dear Tomi's sister' is slightly unnatural. Overall, the ideas are sufficiently developed and meet the requirements of the prompt.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter is generally coherent and follows a logical overall structure, with clear paragraph breaks separating the introduction, details of the experience, learning outcomes, and conclusion. You use some cohesive devices such as 'In addition' and 'However' to link ideas. However, paragraphing and referencing can be improved. For instance, the transition between paragraphs could be smoother, and minor referencing errors such as 'this university' at the beginning of the fourth paragraph lack a clear immediate antecedent since you previously named Toronto University. Despite these minor issues, the progression of ideas is understandable throughout the letter.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, demonstrating an attempt to use less common items such as 'cultural diversity', 'accommodating', and 'permanent resident application'. However, there are noticeable spelling and word choice errors throughout the text, including 'iwant' instead of 'I want', 'yor' instead of 'your', 'hold' instead of 'old', 'enviroment' instead of 'environment', 'lecturer' instead of 'lecturers', and 'diiferent' instead of 'different'. These errors show limited control over word forms and spelling, placing the response firmly in the mid-range for lexical resource.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The response displays a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, such as 'I lived and study in toronto for more than two years and i can boldly tell you that i enjoyed my stay'. There are frequent grammatical errors and punctuation issues, including lowercase 'i' pronouns ('i am', 'iwant'), incorrect verb tenses and agreement ('studying in Canada as thought me alot' instead of 'has taught me a lot', 'the weather was extremely cold compare' instead of 'compared'), and missing punctuation. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they occur frequently enough to impact the overall accuracy of the writing.
